After leaving his position as VP of a construction firm in Washington DC, Bryan Weldon started Old Dominion Custom Homes with the idea of bringing new visions to an old industry. Earlier in his career, he worked for several large retailers building their commercial stores. He also had the opportunity to build several government projects; including a courthouse, airport and senior center.
Bryan started his love affair with construction early in life. As young as five, his favorite shows always involved someone holding a hammer. While most children his age were in love with Bo Jackson or Magic Johnson, Bryan's hero was Bob Villa. His first job was at age 12 helping cleanup and basic activities for a family's construction company.
