But the bagels-on full display in an angled trough-are front and center. Bowen and executive chef Jeremy Schwartz (a former sous chef at Oak at Fourteenth) are trying to adhere to tradition as much as possible. Woodgrain offers several kinds of hand-pulled, wood-fired bagels to eat in or take out.
There are breakfast items like the pastrami hash and woodsman omelette, sandwiches like a Mile High Reuben but also avocado toast (made on bagels, of course), plus sides, salads, and of course poutine. For coffee drinks, the Boulder spot features locally-roasted Boxcar beans.

Delicious bagels that definitely seem more Montreal style with the crusty outside and chewy inside, smaller form. We got the "Brooklyn" with lox, cream cheese, capers, onions and tomatoes. Pretty darn good. Plenty of fish, served open face and with lots of capers. Price was close to $13 which was not optimal but they made up for it with the generous portions. I think one of these is enough for two people as well.

Bagels still taste great, but a bit turned off by a few changes since my last visit. Prices went up, they charge an additional % fee and the avocado toast seemed to have maybe half the avocado and egg that it used to have. I know these are hard times for the world, but all the changes left me feeling disappointed.

We were trying to go to Rosenberg's bagels but I think for some reason when we typed in the address it brought us here. We didn't want to drive to go look for a different spot so we decided to stop in and order breakfast. I'm assuming they make their bagels fresh because I saw some wood fire type of stove as soon as you walk in pretty cool looking spot. Pretty good breakfast spot if you're in the area I recommend trying the tomato basil soup It was pretty earthy.

We have been here probably 6 times now and we have yet to ever get our order correct. We actually joke about it when we come here, knowing full well things will be messed up. We have someone with a dairy allergy and someone with an egg allergy yet every breakfast sandwich, skillet and coffee ends up with an allergen on it and we have to take it back.

Popped into wood grain on a Sunday morning. Small line when we arrived, once we went to order we were informed it would be 20-25 minutes before we got our bagel sandwiches. That's fine, we can wait with a nice latte.
Our food indeed took 25 minutes and by the time we got our food, we still had still not been called up to get our coffees. When we inquired, we were told they would up shortly.
I enjoyed by egg and cheese with veg, but felt the veg portion was a little light considering the price difference. Bagel was delicious and well seasoned. Potatoes were fine.

The bagels are apparently Montreal-style, although it’s unclear if they *quite* meet that criteria. But regardless, they are unique and tasty, if a bit on the dense side.
It can get a little busy and crowded on Saturday mornings but they usually keep things moving along well. (They did forget to toast and butter one of my half-dozen bagels on a particularly busy morning but I don’t really hold it against them.)

Nice spot for bagels and coffee. Plenty of seats outside and in. It's best to go more simple. My wife's bagel with just cream cheese was better than my gigantic bagel sandwich. There was just too much egg, would be a lot better if the egg was fried instead of scrambled too. I also wish their were more bagel options. Many are way too salty.
Will be back again, but next time with just a plain bagel and cream cheese.

Well, I do not understand why this place is 3,5 star, because they definitely deserve more. It looks amazing. The display, interior, decorations. Very stylish spot. For the bagel shop/place they have lots of options on the menu. Its just was super cold to seat outside during my visit. Food was delivered fast and fueled me for half of the day.

You MUST go try this place! My hubby has been ordering this for breakfast and I finally got to try it today! Wow! I enjoyed the Lox & Loaded on a gluten free bagel, with a Campfire Mocha coffee.. Just... Wow! I'm in love! DEFINITELY going back to try new yummies again! Kevin & Riley were working the front at 2:30pm on Sunday December 20, 2020: these two were oh so sweet! Polite & professional, they made conversation with me while I waited for that outstanding coffee to be made right in front of me! Well done to both of you! Such a positive vibe!

Damn good bagels, plus they deliver! I approve.
Having traveled to Montreal a handful of times, I know what to expect with this style of bagel. And I was not disappointed with the flavor or texture of the everything bagel that I tried. Topped with a schmear of cream cheese and it's a win.
Denver doesn't have a ton of brag-worthy bagels, but these definitely hit the spot. Order online via Yelp or stop in to pick up yours.

This place was hard to find since it's on the backside of the building next to the Wings of the Rockies Museum.
They had plenty of parking.
Walking in, it has a very rustic feel with wood furniture and outdoor patio. The bagels are all sprawled our behind the glass.
I ordered the egg and cheese on a sesame bagel and a hot Sherpa chai.
We were given a number and went outside to sit.
My bf's coffee came out and we sat and waited. Our bagels came out in about 10 Min and my drink hadn't arrived yet. I mentioned it to guy running the food and shortly after, he brought it over
