Family owned and operated since 1986 the Old Fashioned Italian Deli is located on the corner of Littleton Blvd and S Delaware St. Started by Tom Panzarella in the early 80's. Capturing the Chicago and New York deli's he frequented from his youth opened the OFID Littleton Colorado. The Deli is family owned and operated.

Many have tried to copy our sandwiches and our names. All of these sandwich creations were designed by Tom, Dave, or one of Dave's sisters over the last 30 years. Accept NO substitutes! Went in on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to eat some tasty food. Service was kind, food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The person there gave us to free sides of pasta salad. I got the italian combo sandwich. It was good with plenty of cold cuts and dressing the bread was not my favorite. My partner got the hot capicola and that was killer. Food price is a little steep, but I would come back.

I popped in after goggle mapping "Italian deli." Imagine that, they were open. I figured with all the whining about hours I was gonna be doomed. I am a connoisseur of "Italian heros" aka "classic Italian" aka "Italian sub." So I'll review my Sicilian. Took 15 minutes to get because other people actually ordered before me. The real reason it took 15 is because the dude was slicing everything thin and fresh like a sandwich should be. Thin lettus, thin onions, thin meats. One bite goes right through not like pulling out a 3 ft onion or some fatty meat. The sandwich had excellent texture and excellent

My new go-to sandwich shop in the area. Staff was super nice and the sandwich (Sicilian) was incredible with fresh, soft bread and meat cuts that leave no doubt about the quality and authenticity of the sub.
I ran a little late picking up the sandwich and even though they'd closed a staff member stayed behind to make sure I got my sub.

The littleton old fashioned deli is a true staple in our town. If you have not been here you need to go. For around 10$ you will get a sandwhich like no other and some home made pasta salad (if you dine in chips for to go orders) or a calzone so big and delicious that it will also be lunch tomorrow. You cant beat the quality and value of this establishment. I have been eating here for nearly 30 years and have never had a bad meal ever. And it is a family owned and operated restaurant and everyone is always friendly and fun. 10 out of 10 best italian deli food in denver metro area.

This place SMELLS like New Jersey the moment you walk in. Miles Davis playing on the speakers, and the box fans roaring in the background. I’ve been coming here since 2003. Incredible food, and a relic of the way that things were 50 years ago.
Yes it's quirky, and sometimes they close early. I'm just glad that places like this still exist. Love the food!

Had a great lunch from Old Fashioned Italian Deli today. Old fashion Italian sandwich, chips, and a can of soda was just right. This place smelled like my Italian Grandmother's house growing up back in NJ. I might also call ahead to order next time, as it took some time to make the sandwich, however I will be back!
