Owner and founder of Hero Moving Hawaii, Inc., Gabriel Gross has been in the moving business since 2005. He started as a helper, learning all aspects of operations in the moving business. For the last nine years, Gabriel lived in Hawaii and has been running long distance and inter-island moving operations ever since.

At Hero Moving Hawaii, we are doing our best to keep customers and employees safe. We have implemented safety guidelines to promote cleanliness and to help prevent the spread of disease. We have told all of our employees to stay home with any flu like symptoms as a safety precaution. For this reason we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do every move that we have scheduled.
Just because you live on our beautiful Hawaiian Islands does not mean, moving has to be more complicated or stressful. We at Hero Moving Hawaii offer a variety of moving services from local and commercial moving to inter-island moving and long term storage. We believe in providing low cost and efficient moving. Our staff has performed thousands of local residential moves and they will happily answer any questions that you may have. We will take care of all your residential moving needs, whether you are moving to a new place in the same city - or even in the same neighborhood, and believe it or not, it will cost you less than it would if you were to carry out the move yourself.
Moving between islands might appear more complicated than just moving from county to another and there is certainly some truth to it. Inter-island moving is as complex of a process as any long-distance move. Added are the inconveniences of dealing with port schedules, containers, agricultural inspections and logistics.

Hero Moving is fast, efficient, courteous, hard working and careful. Those are all characteristics you would expect from a moving company. They quickly loaded up our two bedroom townhouse with all of our large furniture and a ton of boxes and then quickly unloaded them all at our new home. Really good crew! If we ever need to move again, we will call these guys In a heartbeat.

The guys who came to help us move, Victor, Eduardo, and Felipe, were an amazing team! They were kind and friendly, courteous, careful, and worked INCREDIBLY hard. They were efficient and fast. They were hit with some unexpected stuff and took it in stride. I was so impressed with this group. They made sure everything was extremely well protected and they packed their truck like Tetris pros!

I DO NOT recommend these movers. They do rip their customers off. We ended up paying $2000+ just for labor! They used ripped boxes and they taped it together along with our appliances inside. They also used, used boxes because they ran out of supplies which we had to pay for. They ended up using our own boxes that we bought and made us pag for it twice! Save your energies because this is FAR THE WORST MOVERS! Military families, do not let the word “hero” fool you. They will take your service to this Country for granted by ripping you off!

From initial contact with short notice (less than a week) Hero Moving was phenomenal. Out of all the movers I called, they were the most ready and accommodating. The estimate and initial walk thru were accurate. Jordan, Leeland and Eduardo were flawless from move out to move in. Absolutely no damage to even my most fragile items.

I hired Hero Moving to move my 2 bedroom home from Oahu to Miami Florida. From the first phone call Gabe came out and did a on-site estimate and gave me a flat price. I have kids so there was a lot of things to pack in boxes. After 6 weeks everything arrived in my new house. Gave gave me updates on the status of my shipment and the move was handled professionally .

Hero movers did a great job. Took a huge load off our minds so for us it was a not a stressful move. They were on time, efficient, fast (though were slowed down only due to slow elevators). They were hardworking, friendly, respectful and a joy to partner with. Price was good too! I’d recommend them to anyone.

This company is a JOKE! They rip people off! They tell double the price once they are done moving your household goods. Just labor itself, they made us pay double $2100. They were NOT fully equipped, they used our boxes, took an hour lunch break told us they only took 30 minutes, packed our things on a ripped up box and just tapoed around the holes of the box, used our to go bags to pack our things. GABE THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY HAS NO HEART FOR CUSTOMERS. He gives NO crap. He just wants the money and will make you pay more than you have to. I HIGHYLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY‼️

Gabriel and team provided prompt professional service to move me from the west side closer to town. The price was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Hero moving for your big or small jobs. We hired Hero moving to disassemble 2 sets of IKEA Pax wardrobes and move them into a new home to reassemble. Gabe is super professional and courteous and sent 3 of his crew to help out with this. At such short notice, this was all done same day and only took a couple of hours to complete the job! Highly recommended and will keep in mind for my future moves since we move a lot.
