I worked with Travis and Melissa at Surratt Law. Both were very professional and caring. They listened to all of my issues and were sympathetic and understanding of my plight. They sat down with me and really listened which was a new experience for me. They did not rush me or make me feel less important than more wealthier "higher end" clients. I made it clear that I did not have a lot of money as my last attorney cost me pretty much everything I had (over $35k) I would highly recommend both of them for divorce, property or estate planning needs.

My husband and I had an excellent experience with Kim at Surratt Law. We hired Kim for our surrogacy. I felt we were fairly represented. Although our whole surrogacy was a dream after we found the perfect surrogate. The turn around was good. I delayed a little on my end so that was nothing on Surratt Law. If you are considering surrogacy I highly recommend Surratt Law.

I am so happy we found Melissa Exline at Surratt Law. We initially had our estate documents done a few years back somewhere else.
- Trusts (document directing your trustees on what you want VS. your estate having to go through probate)
- POA's (power of attorney = legal document directing an appointee of your choosing on how to act on your behalf should you not be able to)
- Wills (to specify last wishes & asset disbursement)
- Advanced directives (your wishes regarding various medical decisions)
Ok, so that guy did a bad job but we didn't know any better at the time. Circumstances

Prior to even going to the attorneys my husband and I discussed with our surrogate how much we would pay her, how we would pay for all of her Dr, hospital bills and any other expenses that she might incur. My partner and I used Surratt Law Practice twice in the last 4 years for surrogacy. In 2007 we paid the flat fee's which were very reasonable and had the contracts drafted. After a very long 3 year process and 12 attempts at conception, Ms. Surratt and her team redrafted our contract 3 times for no extra fee. Finally on our 13th attempt and our 4th surrogate we got pregnant! During the our surrogates pregnancy she and her staff checking in with us making sure everything was going smoothly with the surrogate process. They even drove to California for us to file for the birth certificates

I had a very negative experience with Surratt Law Practice. I hired them to help me with my divorce. When I started, I expected the divorce would be quick and amicable, however, my now ex-wife proceeded to hire a firm known to be very aggressive. I felt my lawyer at Surratt did not know how to deal with the other law firm, and she perpetually allowed them to slow down the timeline (thereby costing me a LOT of money and stress as I had to continue to support the ex) and she rarely challenged the aggressive firm on anything. Furthermore, I feel my Surratt lawyer did not have the requisite knowledge
