Well, the good is that the community is nice. Some people are inconsiderate leaving their dogs that will not stop barking on their balconies but that's a minor inconvenience.
The main reason I'm giving three stars is the "convenience" fee applied to, literally, any payment we make. Now, it wouldn't be an issue if it were something like "oh I just need to pay $5 extra". Nah. This is a $54 fee EVERY time you pay for something. Rent? Extra $54. Utility bill we weren't given until mid month? Yeah, nah. Have fun paying a "convenient" $54 fee on top of your $20 utility bill.

My wife and I stayed here for four months over the summer while we prepared our move to Texas. The quality of the apartment was high, the community is quiet, and the one problem we did have (garbage disposal leak) was fixed promptly. Management was quick to respond whenever I had a question. I'd recommend East of Market to anyone looking for a nice apartment close to downtown Frederick!

Staff is so friendly and helpful! In love with the community garden. Nice pool and awesome weight room. Granite counters, stainless steel appliances and wood type flooring sold me. Security was important to me and these buildings are secured, which is a great comfort. Parking is tight and that would be my only issue. I would highly recommend this place. We couldn’t be happier😊

These apartments are awesome. We've lived here for a year now, and it is our first home. We could not be happier with our choice. Kim and Grant are super friendly, and helpful. They were very patient with us explaining everything when we first moved in as it was our first place. They also made us feel very much at home, and continue to. The entire staff, Dave and others that help maintain the apartments (cleanliness, maintenance, snow removal and more) are also great.
The apartments themselves are beautiful! We love the style of them. They have been perfect for us. We love the hardwood floors

We have lived here for a little over a year now. It is simply incredible. The staff is very helpful and kind, the amenities are outstanding, the utilities are not too costly (its a very "green" community), and the community is very kind. It is located just north of downtown Frederick so there is very easy access to lots of activities and fun. The complex is very safe and well-kept. Its pet-friendly as well! My wife and I especially love the kitchen.
