I graduated from the University of Arizona, with a BS in Biology in 1999. After which I went on to dental school and graduated from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in 2002. Then further pursued my post-graduate school training from the Foundation of Advanced Continuing Education (FACE) with a certificate in 2006.

There are different types of cosmetic dentistry procedures that can restore different parts of your dental structure. There are several reasons why our teeth start to stain but there are simple ways to brighten them!
You can also have problems in talking or chewing food; and it is also the most common cause of jaw bone loss among many dental patients. Therefore, it is imperative to rectify this issue as soon as possible. This type of implant can give you up to 12 teeth on 4 implants. Four implants are surgically placed into your gums.
We successfully treat clients through splint therapy, freeing them of their TMJ pain and discomfort. The temporomandibular joint connects the skull and the jaw to allow talking, chewing, and yawning in a proper manner. Dysfunction in the join, also known as TMJ, is known as TMD - Temporomandibular Joint Disorder.
Orthognathic surgery (Jaw Alignment might be needed to create an even and functional bite). Jaw joint health was resolved by the client using a Full-time FOSA orthodic for several months (similar to a mouthpiece or retainer.) Teeth are NOT in contact, but joints now aligned, healthy & ready for the new teeth to be built on!

I had the absolute best experience with Dr. Hong! Normally when I have my teeth done I have very little to no interaction with the Doctor. Normally the Doctors tech/techs handle the visit. So I was pleasantly surprised that he did my deep cleaning. Its probably because I had sedation but it was still a very nice surprise. Sedation was perfect, everything went smoothly as best I could remember. My search for the best dentist has finally ended!

For a while, my family and I struggled to find a dentist office that we felt truly comfortable with. Like many others, we had concerns about different offices pushing work we didn't really need, the staff just wasn't friendly, or we were sometimes made to feel bad about the current condition of our teeth - things like that. It's probably one of the big reasons why some might not even want to go to a dentist until something major needs to be fixed.
That said - it's been a blessing for us to have found Dr. Hong's practice. Every person we've interacted with here has been so amazing - very warm/welcoming

Dr Hong is SO personable, SO knowledgeable, SO understanding & above all, SO SO SO gentle. :) He is able & willing to prescribe and perform "sedation dentistry" - which is very, very helpful for anyone with a phobia of Dentists. Kelly and EVERYONE at the office are so warm and friendly, and you can tell that Dr. Hong really fosters an environment of patient care and customer service.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hong for the past six years. He is such an incredible dentist - I recommend him to everyone I can! In fact, we moved two years ago to Fountain Hills and even though it's an hour drive each way, my entire family still goes to Dr. Hong. I just broke a temporary crown on a front tooth - and although he is on vacation this week, he is going into the office just to fix my tooth. I cannot tell you how much that means to me. I am not super happy with my visit here. I have a wisdom tooth that is fully exposed but was told that Dr. Hong does not pull wisdom teeth in general. It would have been nice to know this before my appointment when I told them it was a wisdom tooth. They proceeded with an X-Ray ($29) and exam ($79) for a total of $108. Being currently unemployed and in pain, this is $108 down the drain I could have applied to another dentist. I walked out with no result except my wallet being lighter and a few referrals for wisdom teeth.

I can't express how pleased I am with my new upper front bridge! It has exceeded my expectations. Dr. Hong and his staff are amazing! I started my Invisalign treatment with another provider but switched to Dr. Hong when I moved to Arizona. I was extremely nervous about having my Invisalign brackets removed but Dr. Hong made the process painless and stress free. Dr. Hong and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly. I have been coming here for 5 years & cannot say enough good things about this place! If you love a clean facility, and friendly people this is the place for you. Every time I come I am greeted with a smile, and my concerns are taken seriously. Dr. Hong is by far the BEST Dentist. I broke my top set of dentures.
A front tooth fell out. Dr hong glued it back in.
I made an appointment to get a new set of teeth made.
Instead of getting a set of teeth I was made a new top denture only.
So it was made to match my old worn out lower dentures.
The top dentures are huge. I look like bugs bunny. I figured I might get used to them but they are embarrassingly large.
Wasted my money and my dental insurance.
I am not pleased.
Now I'm going to have to go somewhere else and pay all over again

I can not say enough nice things about this practice! Every single person who works in this office is as nice as they come. The Office Manager, Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistant and Dr. Hong are all absolutely amazing. The office reception area is so tranquil and relaxing, it feels like you are stepping into a spa.
