From a routine exam and cleaning to full-mouth rehabilitation, our practice is equipped to handle all of your dental needs. Dr. Ward is a native of Chocowinity NC. He attended East Carolina University where he received a Pre-Med degree before attending the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr Ward has furthered his education by attending the Triangle Dental Institute Implant Fellowship in Durham NC and earning his license to practice IV sedation by completing IV sedation training in Winston-Salem NC.

On your first visit, your dentist will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health.

Eastern Pines Dental staff are always wonderful. The building and decor are awesome. I love my hygienist Ashley she is easy going and does a great job. I actually saw Megan today who also did a great job. My kids and husband have had all types of dental work from extractions to crowns and we have never had any problems. As a dental professional myself I have seen all types of clinics good and bad and Eastern Pines is at the top!

Great dentist. High prices for people without insurance, but I keep coming back because they are so nice. I'll have insurance soon so I'll be able to fully enjoy them. Just had a tooth pulled at $421 which really hurt our pocket but it had to go. Overall if you have insurance, they're definitely the place to go.

I really like Eastern Pines Dental. Everyone I have dealt with has been so nice. From the girls at the front desk, to the girls in the back. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ward. Not only is he gentle while working in your mouth. He lets you know what he’s doing or about to do. His bedside manner is just great! He makes you feel comfortable to speak up and/or ask questions. Overall a great place to go! Especially if you don’t like going to the Dentist!

I have horrible Dental anxiety but I have to say even though I still get worked up over a dental appointment that Dr Ward and Rachel were very nice and comforting to me. I recently I had to have filling‘s and they made it as easy for me as they could. Dr Ward never hurt me and Rachel even held my hand at times . Also at a previous visit Mackenzie did a cleaning and X-rays and was so pleasant and I will be going back to her for a deep cleaning which I’m dreading but with her doing it , I feel a little more comfortable. Childhood dentist stories are real and mine has caused me great Dental Anxiety

I went in for a routine cleaning yesterday. In and out in less than an hour, as always. I have never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. The front desk staff ALL stop what they are doing to greet me when I walk in. Kristen is my hygienist and she is AWESOME in every way. Dr. Ward is very friendly and thorough; Always provides opportunity for questions and discussion no matter how busy he is.
I would happily recommend this practice with 100% confidence.

The staff is amazing from the time you walk into the door until you walk out! Everyone has a smile on their face and are working as a team helping each other constantly. My hygienist (KL) is knowledgeable, caring and gives me exactly what i ask for during my cleaning. I like a firm hand and she’s the best! I can’t say enough about Dr Ward! My treatment plan s laid out for me when I’m ready.

It really was one of the best experience to have at a dentist office. Never like going but something that have to be done. The doctor, Dr.Ward, the staff and the front desk staff are more than you can ask for in the way of kindness. Helpful and knowledgeable. Nina is very compassionate as well as the others, just don't know their names as well as hers. Thanks to Brittany for letting me hold her hand during the procedures.
