Services
As a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, I attended high school at St. Johns Country Day School. After graduating college from the University of Florida and then Thomas M. Cooley Law School, I worked for a respected estate planning firm in Spring Hill, FL. While there, I started my career down the interesting and complex road of estate planning including areas such as Wills, Trust Preparation, and Probate Administration.
Estate planning involves the creation of documents that suits the needs and goals of the client. A Last Will & Testament and Trust may offer many benefits to the client. Additionally, proper estate planning allows the client to state with particularity who should make decisions on their behalf if unable to do so themselves.
Guardianship administration is the court process of appointing a guardian for a person called the "Ward". The court appointed guardian may manage the Ward's property and also exercise certain delegable rights of the Ward. Florida has several different types of guardianships depending on the situation.
When you are planning for the future, a trust may be necessary to help accomplish your estate planning goals. Leggett Law Offices is prepared to help you through this process and explain the benefits of having a trust and the different types of trusts that may work best for you based upon your individual situation.
A last will and testament is your written instructions detailing how you want your property to be distributed upon your death. In the will, you designate a "personal representative" to settle your affairs and administer your probate estate. The will may be revoked or amended at any time before your death.

Grant and his team did a great job. They quoted a fair price and finished the work in a very timely manner. They listened to our concerns and we were very happy to have them working with us!

Awful experience with Grant Leggett. Very condescending and uninformative. He completed services without my consent. Refused to put details needed in writing he would only ever speak on the phone. Not happy with the service provided or lack there of.
