Two of the primary focuses at the Law Offices of Mark F. Moss, PLLC, are asset protection and estate planning. Estate planning can carry lots of negative, preconceived notions, so we refer to it as Life Planning. Our office will create options to help you have the best understanding and ability to achieve your Life Planning needs and desires.
Florida residents have a constitutional right to determine any decision pertaining to their health. A Living Will indicates your wishes to receive, or not receive, artificial life-sustaining procedures if you are in a persistent vegetative state, have an end-stage condition, or develop a terminal condition.
Known by many different names, and coming in many different forms, a trust is a popularly known Life Planning tool. One of the most commonly used types is a Living Trust also known as a revocable trust. Among it's numerous advantages, a living trust is often used to avoid probate, manage assets, and preserve assets.
A durable power of attorney allows one person (the principal) to delegate authority to someone else (the agent) to act on their behalf. Florida law previously allowed for a springing power of attorney - where the agent's powers "sprang" into action after a triggering event. This is no longer permitted in Florida.
Your health and well-being is arguably more important than your financial security. Florida laws allow a resident to designate a health care surrogate, which ensure that person's right to make a health care decision is not lost due to physical or mental incapacity. A Health Care Surrogate (HCS) is a person that you appoint to make health care decisions if you are unable to do so.

If hired please keep in contact with him. Had I not contacted him he would still be charging me on a case that could have been closed out ahead of time. Instead he wanted to keep charging because he could not get in contact with another lawyer. (Lawyers return other lawyers for phone calls that’s why they have an assistant). If a death occurs in family and funds are low this not the lawyer he’s in it for the money.
