Fantastic place right on the river! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in one of the rooms. The property was beautifully kept, the rooms were very comfortable and the hosts were very personable and did everything to make everyone comfortable. Hanging out by the fire pit under the full moon was just magical. I usually don't love cold continental breakfasts over cooked ones, but their ''covid Continental'' was the best I'd ever had. The only thing I wished was that the room was a little bit warmer - I'm used to the southwestern temperatures and needed the heavy blanket, but otherwise the rooms

Every step of the way this was a fabulous experience. Easy reservations, perfect directions (even for someone who always makes wrong turns), and then such a lovely lovely time. The grounds are gorgeous -- fine attention to everything without making it feel artificial like a golf course, the house felt like home but without all the to-do things I never get to, and Dan and Robin are both magnificent hosts. I'm barely gone and I already want to go back.

My husband wanted to take me to a nice place as an early mother's day get away, we booked a two night stay at Paddlers Lane Retreat, traveled over100 miles, only to get a phone call while we were still driving, from the reservation desk telling us that our reservation had to be cancelled due to over booking.

We have stayed in many places like this. The Riverfront Chalet was amazing! Robin had it beautifully decorated for Christmas (which we were not expecting). It seriously looked like something out of a catalog. It had snowed a foot prior to our arrival and the trees looked like something out of a Christmas postcard. The chalet was impeccably clean and inviting. So remote and beautiful - could only hear the sound of the river outside. A freight train came by about every 2 hours, but it was more welcome in terms of atmosphere than an annoyance. We actually looked forward to seeing the train

We have a very large family so we rented both the house and the chalet. Both were beautiful. Everyone had a great week. Lots of outdoor activities, relaxing and just hanging out. Loved being next to the river and the all the beautiful flowers gardens. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Really crazy about this beautiful B&B. We were looking to escape Philly during the COVID crisis and do some hiking with our dog. This is located in the quiet, peaceful little town of Confluence. It's very close to amazing biking and hiking trails and kayaking, fishing, and rafting.
The house we stayed in (their are several options) had 3 bedrooms with baths. The common rooms are spacious and gorgeously appointed. The decor is very tasteful Arts and Crafts period. The owner, Robin, is a potter, and you can see her pottery throughout and buy it too.

Beautiful, secluded spot beside the river. Rooms were pretty small, but clean and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and likable. The train was very loud with the windows open, although the house seemed well insulated from the sound with the windows closed. The plates and mugs are pottery made by the hostess, very beautiful. Children welcome!

My husband and I stayed in the Chalet at Paddler's Lane Retreat for two days while he was biking the Great Alleghany Passage. After staying at a string of B&B rooms, it was lovely to spread out in this beautifully decorated two-bedroom, two-bath house. The sliding doors and large window face the Youghiogheny River, and there's a big deck on that side. There's a fireplace in the living room and a fire pit by the river. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, and everything is spotlessly clean. There's a huge TV in the living room and smaller TVs in each

I was here for a wedding. It's a nice spot. A little out there but not impossible to find. Very quiet and scenic. The wedding wasn't huge, probably around 100 people and I'd say that's about the limit with parking. Plenty of space for the ceremony and a tent for the reception. You can get down to the river as well and I would definitely recommend taking a peek.

Not sure why Yelp has this place listed as closed. I was just here over the weekend and had a lovely stay. The house sits close to the river on a beautiful plot of land. The house is old but charming, warm and inviting. It's was also extremely clean. Dan, our host was amazing. Very friendly and had some great suggestions of things to do in the area. He also made a wonderful breakfast for us and the other guests on Sunday morning.
On the property, there is a nice fire pit by the river. (Wood is supplied for a small fee.) You can walk to a little beach by the river with a bench for sitting

We had our wedding at Paddler's Lane and it couldn't have been more perfect!
Robin and Dan were GREAT! So helpful, and they made themselves available to us in any way we needed.
The grounds are beautifully kept, which provided a delightful background and atmosphere for the wedding ceremony and reception. The river in the background was perfect, and the houses met all of the needs of our wedding part and guests. Robin helped us locate our rental company, which did a great job at decent prices.

I had to write this review just because it used to be my Great Grand fathers house Lutheran Nace. I spent many nights in this house as a kid back in the 80's. Hearing the roar of the train as it pasted by at night and swimming in the river during a hot summer day, getting stung by a bee in my Grand fathers Garden. Just wanted to share my memories as I haven't been there since he lived there in the 80's.

We stayed at Paddler's Lane campground (they have chalets and a B&B also). It has quite possibly the nicest bathhouse I have ever experienced in all my years of camping. Hot showers, clean, lovely. Uncrowded campground, beautifully and thoughtfully laid out, nice level tent camping sites with fire rings and picnic tables, charming scenery. The host was great, and there are two friendly camp dogs. Quiet family atmosphere -- you can have alcohol (unlike a state park) but quiet time is at 10 pm, and everyone was very considerate. Also: a nice swimming hole in the river is easily accessible

I enjoyed two nights at Paddler's Lane during a lovely Great Allegheny hiking trip planned by the Chester County Trail Club beginning at Ohiopyle State Park. Group members also visited Fallingwater (Frank Lloyd Wright house; now a museum). Gorgeous area with phenomenal sunsets and Dan at Paddler's Lane is a knowledgeable guide to the town's rich offerings, from trails to restaurants to...bat boxes. Dan works to address white-nose syndrome with the boxes. The bats put on a show around dusk over the Paddler's Lane campground at the head of Ramcat Trail along the water and the

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Paddler's Lane. We came to visit Ohiopyle State Park, but we realized we were near Falling Water, the Greater Allegheny Passage bicycle trail (which is beautiful!), and the Youghiogheny River. So, there is a ton to do and the owners will help guide you towards any adventures you are looking for. There are two owners, Robin and Dan. We stayed while only Dan was there and he was a great host. He is fun to chat with, keeps the house in pristine condition, and his breakfasts are filling and tasty. The owners are willing to accommodate breakfast times
