We know your time is valuable, so we want to make your first visit with us as easy as possible. Prior to your first session, please take a few minutes to complete your new client forms. You will be asked to create a free online account. If you are a new client attending your first appointment at Cornerstone, please plan to arrive 10 minutes early.
As a mental health professional, it is important to find a therapeutic approach that benefits the clients that you work with. It is also important to find an approach that fits your personal style well. During my journey as a professional, I have found that I enjoy working with those that have experienced trauma.
It was my first year of marriage, I would get home from work and my wife would ask me about my day. You get the picture. She might as well be speaking to a brick wall. It sounds obvious now, but this way of relating to each other did not foster the close relationship we both desired. It left my wife feeling rejected, alone, and to several late night discussions.

There are not enough words to say what Cornerstone Counseling means to me and my family. I do not believe we would be a family if not for this ministry. They truly are the hands and feet of Jesus. My husband and I had been married for 32 years and we covered up everything. We thought that was the “Christian Way.” Thank the Lord Lee Smith saw… more than marriage problems and had us each work on getting healthy individually. We now have a good marriage that is built on truth BUT we also have so much more. This was a game changer in our lives and I will forever be grateful.

It's hard to admit sometimes you need help. That is where Cornerstone saves the day and makes your life better. The helpful staff listen and care about you, and along the way provide sound advice rooted in scripture. It doesn't matter what you are going through or have experienced; their staff will help you work through anything. Could not recommend anyone better.

After losing my wife to cancer, I knew I needed someone to guide me through the grief process. The counselors at Cornerstone patiently walked with me for a period of months and provided compassionate wisdom. There was never any rush to get to the end but helped me work through it at my own pace. I'm now back with them again as I sort out the life as a single dad of a teen. I've been extremely satisfied with the services provided by these caring professionals.
