Our hair and scalp treatment will result up to 20 times better than regular hair mask and scalp care with SKA exclusive professional NANO-machine and Steam machine.

We have a special machine called the nano machine. The main functions of the machine is to moisturize hair, repair the damaging hair, and open up the hair cuticle so it can better promote deep penetration of nutrition. Using the nano machine will make the result of the treatment 20 times better than regular treatment without the machine.
The scalp is a part of our skin too, but the scalp is not treated like our face on a daily basis. From sun exposure, air pollution, water quality, inappropriate hair products, irregular lifestyles, these seriously threaten the health of the scalp. If the care is not timely maintain, many problems will occur.
SKA analyzes different skin conditions, and enhances your skin through professional techniques, salon-grade skincare product, and certified beauty instruments. To help with our customer's skin concern, we are here to provide you a simple, safe one-stop solution. This facial comes with ultra-micro bubbles formed by the vacuum pressure vacuum circuit where the bubbles and nutrient serums are fully integrated and applied directly on skin.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.

I came in for a scalp consultation. I believe I was kindly greeting by the owner Sophie. My experience was special, I felt a sense of humility as well as a passion for their work, and this is what really made a difference. From hair wash to hair cut and styling, the process was the most relaxing I've had in a a while.I highly recommend if your looking for a stylist or colorist.

I've been coming here (to Sophie) for about three years now for haircuts and I have left super happy every time. I just show her a picture for inspiration and I let her do what she wants.
She (and everyone here) is the SWEETEST and insanely good at her job. She's the only person I trust with my hair (and my life). I always leave with a little piece of wisdom on how to take care of or style my hair too. Looking forward to coming back forever!

I was looking into getting a scalp treatment at SKA Beauty and finally decided it was time to schedule the appointment because my scalp and my hair was bothering me. This is the most helpful and relaxing salon experience I've had so far. Many times, stylists who have seen my hair compliment how beautiful it is while neglecting the health of my scalp but not this time. I really appreciate the staff being so kind, it can be nerve-wracking for someone to look at your scalp with a microscope and talk about some ways that you can improve it's health but I was amazed at the things I learned

Eyelash extensions are AWFUL -- never go here for eyelashes. I got my eyelashes done with Ava, who was a very nice person, but it did not seem like she was qualified to do eyelashes. I still tried her out anyway, and she gave me less than what I paid for as well as getting glue in my eyes (which is super painful). My advice is: don't advertise that you do eyelashes when you don't.

I went to this salon for a year. The first time I went was due to the convenient online booking and good reviews. Afterwards, I was very impressed by my first cut by Ruby and told literally everyone I knew about it.
Unfortunately, over the past year, there seems to have been some turnover of the hairdressers here and Ruby has not come back yet.
I had a few more haircuts since then with other stylists but I wasn't as impressed. One thing I noticed is that when Ruby styled my hair, it looked good

I recently moved from California to Boston and have been very frustrated with finding the right colorist that knows how to lighten Asian hair (and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg). I had two previous hair color jobs at two different salons (which I wasn’t completely happy with) before coming to Sophie at SKA. At first I was skeptical that they could achieve the exact shade/color that I want, considering my hair was already colored AND Asian hair is pretty tricky to lighten to a golden brown. They were so kind and friendly when I got there! They got started on my hair, constantly checking on me to make sure I was comfortable, if I needed water/soda, if I was hungry

I was on the lookout for a Boston hair salon experienced in balayage for Asian hair and was recommended to try SKA by a friend/colleague who is a regular here. I definitely was not disappointed! Although they are pricey, you are paying for high quality service and I felt that it was overall worth it! Warning for people who just want a decent haircut here: not every stylist is as qualified and professional as the others. Had my hair cut two weeks ago here by one of the staff, she cut the layers down to the roots and now there are some short hair sticking out from the back of my head, and I've never seen my head shape look like this before just totally ruined my hair, had to get it fixed somewhere else. Won't go back for sure.

Great salon. Have been getting cuts here for two years and always appreciated the attention to detail. All the stylists I've had were fantastic--they paid close attention to my request and offered helpful suggestions. There was never a surprise after the cut was finished. Friendly staff, and incredibly responsive during booking.

Note - it's impossible to find free parking, you're going to have to park in the grocery store valet garage parking two blocks away.
(I highly recommend taking public transportation.)
Ruby did an amazing job cutting my hair with very little instruction. I said my hair was feeling heavy and thick and she was able to skillfully remove POUNDS of hair without making too many layers or making my hair too poofy.

Another great experience at SKA, I got my extremely long hair(dark brown naturally) colored to a almost silver-grey brown(only at the ends, balayage)
The service was relaxing, the products used were healthier than many of the products I've seen (higher quality). It is indeed really important to use better products for hair especially if you have darker hair tone and want to bleach it for a lighter color. Just a suggestion: if anyone like me who has darker hair and wants to get your hair colored lighter color(like silver or ash grey etc.) remember to use hair mask! And SKA also sells great

I love this place for a women's haircut! I only needed a bang trim this time, but I would happily come back for a full haircut. The place is kind of small and cramped, however, the stylist (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations.

I was very pleased with the makeup Sophie did for my engagement photo shoot. Came here almost an hour early for my 1:30pm Tuesday appointment with Sophie, and she was able to see me ~20 minutes early, which I was grateful for. She was friendly, professional, and thorough, and considerate of the fact that I almost know nothing about makeup and never wear it. She gave me skin care tips while doing my makeup and checked in with me every now and then to make sure the "look" she had for me was in line with my vague ideas of what I wanted.
