Services
Marbridge Retirement Center is a retirement center located in the beautiful countryside of Cheshire, Connecticut. Marbridge is designed for older adults who may no longer be up to the demands of living on their own, and need assistance of nursing homes in CT, but who want to enjoy an independent lifestyle that is also affordable.
What is a home assessment and what does it entail? An assisted living home care assessment, is an in-home evaluation of older adults' needs for memory care, respite care, personal care or assisted care. This can help you and your family better understand and address family concerns, your current situation, and plan for future needs.
The warm, caring Seacrest staff is dedicated to providing personalized, exemplary assisted living Connecticut service to meet as many or as few of our residents needs as necessary. Residents also enjoy the security of knowing that we value their privacy and care about their well-being. Families have the comfort of knowing their loved ones' care and needs are being met with 24 assistance provided by qualified personnel.
In recent years, Connecticut has experienced a large growth in senior and memory care communities. Memory care for seniors suffering from Alzheimer's or other types of dementia is an important factor for many when choosing an assisted living facility. Seacrest offers safe and comfortable housing with care from specially trained memory care professionals.
There are many respite care options available to help support you and your loved one. Though respite care can take many forms, it is founded around two basic ideas: sharing the responsibility for caregiving and getting support for yourself. Seacrest offers 24-hour supervised care with meals, activities and health management for residents.

If your loved one is mobile it's fine. But after Covid, they couldn't keep help and most are not trained CNA's. Once my mom started falling she was neglected and overmedicated. And no one ever suggested she needed long-term care, I was instructed to get a state aide which didn't help. Several of my moms belongings were missing and the laundry was in hamper for a week ! I was so disappointed how downhill they went. I couldn't get my mom out of there fast enough.

Seacrest Retirement Center truly brought my mom back to life. Staff members are like family to me now, and knowing my mom has wonderful folks looking after her morning, noon and night means the world to me. And the fact that Seacrest is located right on the water is a double bonus! And did I mention they have great food, the best rec director on the planet and a lot of laughter echoing through the corridors? You can't put a price on that! I could go on, but I'll stop there ...

Please DO NOT have your love one live at this home! The owner is making the workers do 4-5 different jobs and it's impossible to watch over them. Residents are falling out if beds and the proper care is not veing delivered to them! Only if your love one is in their right mind and could tend to themselves it's OK. But if they need help send them to a proper convalescent home! Not Here! Also if your looking for employment DO NOT APPLY HERE! They pay sucks to work 4-5 different jobs and they do not appreciate you at all!

I had taken a friend on a tour of Seacrest and he instantly fell in love with Seacrest. He thought is was beautiful and decided that he would be moving in. Everything was so clean and the rooms were beautiful. Sadly he has since passed but he really loved Seacrest, the staff, the food and especially all the activities. He was a very social man and he spent his time at Seacrest really "living". It was the best days of his life.

If you are a vendor and are contemplating selling your goods or services to Lou Bower at Seacrest Retirement Center---beware. He touts himself as a CPA on his LinkedIn page, but our company has invoices that are now over 200 days old. Lou Bower took out a premium position advertising spot in our clients local performing arts venue's program books and has nothing but disrespect for our company as well as the local performing arts venues. Our A/R dept. put him into collections and his exact words to our collection agency were " both your company and your client can go to Jesus Christ."
