Our staff of dedicated, knowledgeable trainers has the expertise to help you whatever your current level of fitness may be. At terraFITNESS, we care about our clients and pride ourselves on always providing a supportive environment. Terra Brozowski has been actively involved in fitness from a young age.

Terra graduated from Florida State University and received her J.D. from Duquesne University school of Law. Terra branched out from her law career and pursued her passions for fitness, exercise and helping people transform their bodies as well as their minds. She received her certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association, one of the country's most respected associations for trainers.
Services
Just a short walk from the shops on Walnut Street, terraFITNESS is located between Whole Foods and Giant Eagle on Baum Blvd. Our over 2,000 sq foot loft space has a boutique atmosphere with tall windows and high ceilings. We have an open feel with lots of natural light, which is nice on days when Pittsburgh can seem a bit gloomy.

Love this place! Carol is amazing! I've already felt a difference from training with her twice a week. She switches up my routine often so it doesn't get boring while keeping moves around long enough that I learn the form and see myself improve. It also feels very safe amid Covid.

Alex is a wonderful trainer! He always made sure I knew what I was doing and why, and he also told me ways to do our workouts at home on days when we didn’t have sessions. He made working out enjoyable and was flexible with his schedule if I need to move our sessions around. The studio was always clean and the staff is also very friendly. It is a great space to exercise!

I have been working out at Terra Fitness for a couple of months now with Alex as my trainer and it has been wonderful. At first, I was a bit nervous due to just being back the the mode of admitting that I needed help in getting back into my fitness regime. I have always been an athlete and always needed that extra push that I remember having as a coach and it seems to be the key factor in wanting to come back each week. I have been working with Briana for over a year now. I love everything about working out with her. Briana keeps the workouts fun and challenging, I never dread working out. I am probably the fittest I have ever been in my life. Briana has taught me to appreciate my body's strength and capacity rather than just size. The entire staff is so professionally from my initial inquiry to scheduling my sessions, I know I'll always get a prompt and thoughtful response. The gym itself is not intimidating, which for me is a huge selling point.

I have been working out with Sarah at terraFitness three times a week for over two months now. It's expensive, but the one-on-one attention and personalized training programs are a worthwhile investment. I'm not a fitness nut or anything, and Sarah tailors my workouts so they are challenging, but still doable within my level of ability. I've definitely seen improvements in my strength since working out with her. She keeps the workouts fresh and interesting, so we're never doing the same thing over and over. I worked out about three times a week with Brianna Hawkins, a trainer at terraFITNESS for about 8 months before leaving Pittsburgh. Bri is great! She is extremely effective in getting you in shape. Bri listens to what your goals are, and helps you meet them quickly. For example, I could do about 10 pushups at the beginning of our training together and about 80 by the time I moved out of town. My wife started working out with me as well and Bri was able to adapt the plan to make workouts interesting and challenging for both of us. The studio itself is great--it's a warehouse loft-style space

I have worked with Terra for about a month and a half, in order to lose some weight and get in shape before my wedding. She is fabulous - candid, no-nonsense, and practical. She cares about her clients, personally and professionally. She is good at what she does and I have lost about 11 pounds in 6 weeks by meeting with her 2-3 times a week, in addition to some dieting and running on my own. Terra is not only an incredible person, but an amazing trainer and nutritionist. I was lucky enough to have her guidance and motivation to whip me into shape for the Miss Pennsylvania 2009 pageant! She literally took a couch potato and turned me into a confident swimsuit-ready competitor!
