Acne, the most common skin condition, affects not only teens, but also adult men and women. Acne is caused when a pore becomes clogged with dead skin cells. Naturally occurring oils trap these cells and provide a fertile growth medium for local bacteria, encouraging local inflammation. Hormones further accelerate oil production.
Chronic sun damaged skin can produce dry scaly patches known as actinic keratosis. The face, ears, neck, hands, forearms, legs, and thinning scalp are common locations for these ultraviolet light induced patches to appear. Early diagnosis and treatment of these precancerous spots reduces the risk of their transformation into squamous cell carcinoma, one of the common types of skin cancer.

I am grateful for the care and guidance.
I’d not go back there unless I must.
1. If you seach for Dr. Gandhi, google maps took me semewhere else. If they’d care for their digital profile, they should have it fixed.
2. My wife forgot her mask and they’d not give one.
3. We waited there wearing some sort of paper gown for more than 30 mins. For a simple visit it took us more than 2 hours (including the time I had to go buy a mask).
4. She gave some general advice for our situation like living in colder temperatures…
My wife’s problem isn’t solved but I have zero motivation to go

I waited about two months for an appointment and accidentally went to “lake view dermatology” and ended up being 20 minutes late. She was gracious enough to let me come in still, but my experience wasn’t very great. She took a 30 second glance at my body and determined what was wrong. Also seemed somewhat annoyed by questions.

Alway excellent experience. Over the years, Dr. Ghandi has spotted several potentially serious lesions before they could become problems. They were removed. In today's visit, there was no wait, and she is biopsing some cells from my arm. She is pleasant and just a beautiful, deeply skilled person. It is a pleasure to know her.

I checked in thinking I had my medical card but apparently it was stuck to the back of an expired card and didn't find it until afterwards. The office was adamant that I needed the card, despite what UHC stated when I called. When I asked De. Kavitha Gandhi why they wouldn't accept a facsimile from UHC, she snapped at me saying she didn't want to argue about it. Then the front desk gave me some bs invoice when UHC needed a "super invoice". One showing more information. When I called the office about it! They would only mail it to me. They even said they would not give

Awful! I would not recommend her at all. She overbooks like crazy! I was in the waiting room talking to a few others only to find out we all had the same appointment time! It's not uncommon to wait for 1-2 hours beyond your appointment time. A full body check she does in 5 minutes. Those should ideally take at least 30 minutes or more. She is in a huge rush to get you out the door. It's very clear patients are not her priority.

I never write reviews. I knew this place took forever so I called in for my refill a week in advance before I was out. It is now 1 month PAST my empty bottles! Face breaking out. Multiple phone calls saying "She will send it to pharmacy" but never does. Very upset. After this refill I am switching derms. When I come here I only book at 9am when it opens so she will come in around 9:15. If you book a later appointment you will be sitting there for AT LEAST 1 hour maybe even 2 and im not joking. Too many clients, overbooked, she rushes you. Won't let you speak. Very disappointing service and practice

Would give a rating of 0. Went for a visit in Nov 2018, wen i got the bill in my insurance portal it showed i dont need to pay anything and everything is covered in my insurance. However i got bill via mail i need to pay. i called them and they checked the system and told it was a mistake at their end and made it as 0 dollars now. But still i have been getting reminder notice till Feb 2019. I called them twice and both time they clarified that it is showing 0 dollars at their end. Such a poor system. Keeping my fingers crossed that this should not impact any of my credit score

Very poor experience. She seemed intelligent but refused to listen to what I had to say about my personal issues and would interrupt me on a fairly regular basis. Ended up taking two rounds of accutane (thousands and thousands of dollars) before she told me the drug was fat soluble, she tried acting like this was a new finding so I did a little research and found documents noting this 14 years prior. Don't waste your time with her, she seemingly does not understand how the drugs she prescribes works. She also schedules far too many patients to the point where I was waiting 45min+ each appt.
