Dr Dean has been my dermatologist for 20 plus years. I have had issues with basal cells on my body. I am on a 6 month scheduled visits plan. Dr Dean always listens to my concerns, he is always up to date regarding my case and he always follows through on any of my concern. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He is also my daughter's and granddaughter's doctor.

Been seeing Dr. dean for quite a few years. He takes the time to chat, gives great common sense advice to take care of yourself. I have never felt one ounce of discomfort when he has removed anything. He has a great "bedside manor" and professionalism that makes you so at ease. Gives product advice to take care of my skin that is so affordable; doesn't try to up sell which I so appreciate.

I went in expecting a simple growth on my arm. To my surprise the Dr spotted a couple problems with my face and back and removed them immediately. I was there with a V.A. referral and was treated like a regular patient, something I haven't experienced lately with my outpatient treatments. I can't thank them enough for taking preventative measures before they became a huge issue for me.

Half hour wait in the lobby for a very rushed appointment. I had a follow up appointment that I wanted to reschedule. Called and left voicemails. Finally got a hold of someone a week later saying that they had cancelled my follow up apopintment without any notification to me at all. Do not recommend.

I have been going to Dr Dean for years and have always received excellent and knowledgeable care. He is both attentive and patient and makes sure you understand exactly what the diagnosis is and how he is going to treat you. He also has a friendly and helpful office staff. Dr. Dean (http://www.grossmontdermatology.com/old/virtualredesign/contact_us.htm) has a new, modern and clean office. He is a very nice person and easy to be around, which is important when you have to stand naked in front of him. He is very competent and knowledgeable. The only drawback is that his high patient volume can sometimes result in a longer-than-expected wait; however, he conducts his appointments quickly and efficiently so you don't have to wait long once you are called in. Also, don't criticize the watercolors in the office--he painted them!
