I have stayed at the Deerwood Motel several times over the years. I want to say that the couple that own this Motel are Amazing. They really care about there guests and even call ahead to make sure that you are still going to show up. My rooms have always been clean and the beds are soft. Also as for how "dated" people claim this place is. First there are several pictures on the Motel Site and so if not what you into then just don't stay. I think the many older style just makes the charm all the better. Thank you Deerwood Motel AMAZING JOB!!!!

This is a no frills Hotel... DONT expect much beyond a place to stay. It's very dated however it was clean. It reminded me of sleeping at grandmas house. I came up to Deerwood to some fishing and wanted a cheap place to stay. They had parking for my boat and a place to plug in my boat to charge my electronics. The room was much larger than normal hotels I've stayed at. The room has everything you normally have in a hotel room: TV, microwave, refrigerator, table etc. A neat amenity this hotel does have is a fish cleaning shed. I would definitely come back.
