Dussich Dance Studio opened its doors in Cocoa Beach, FL back in 1958, with only 25 students by owner, Liz Bevilacqua. In 1983, the studio relocated to its current location in Merritt Island, FL in order to acquire a facility that was more centrally located and larger to accommodate all students. Dussich Dance Studio is a member of the Brevard Cultural Alliance and the Dance Community of Brevard.
We also support the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts and Eastern Florida State College. Our dance faculty are certified members of professional dance organizations and attend workshops, conventions and competitions throughout the year in order to continue their own dance education and knowledge.

Services
Beginning exploration of the world of dance. This class is designed to introduce your toddler to a wide variety of music and movement in a fun and safe environment. Wonderful opportunity for parent/child bonding. A parent or Adult must be in class with them. This class offers a half hour of ballet & a half hour of tumbling.
The Imperial Dance Corps (IDC) at Dussich Dance Studio was founded by Ms. Liz Dussich Bevilacqua in the early 90's, under a different name, Imperial Dance Company. The dance company was small and parent run. It got its' name from the address of our studio (125 Imperial Street) in Merritt Island. It was created to give those students that were wanting more performance time an opportunity to be on stage and continue growing their craft.
Thank you, all of you, for the constant support I have received throughout the years. Without this organization of wonderful people, I would not be the dancer/person I am today. Kira Received a scholarship to the Harid Conservatory Ballet School. After graduation, she went on to dance with the North Carolina dance Theater and Montgomery Ballet.

A friend suggested I take my 2 1/2 year old daughter to Dussich to test out dance. SHE LOVED IT! Ms. Tabatha sparked the love of dancing in my little girl and now at age 7 she is getting instruction in 6 dance styles. She is a truly talented dancer who loves learning about her body through this art form. There isn't any pressure to push beyond unreasonable limits, but you receive a gentle push to be your best self. She is harder on herself than anyone else. My husband is active duty and our girls have danced at studios all over the country. Dussich is hands down the best! Students get a top notch dance education in a safe and encouraging environment and know they are important and that they matter. The relationships that the owners and teachers build with the students is priceless. They have a very welcoming and inclusive

All Dussich instructors are either FDM or certified by degree in various dance styles.
It shows that they know their stuff! My daughter and I love the way she is both supported and pushed to perfection. Classes are well paced and affordable which allows her to acquire instruction in multle genres. Thanks for helping my little one blossom into a graceful young lady!

My daughter in her 7th year with Dussich, and we wouldn't think to take her anywhere else! Such positive role models, with good family values. My daughter has always done routines and been in costumes that are age appropriate! Even makeup for recital is minimal! Teachers take the time to correct in a caring way. I've never seen any of our current teachers be negative toward a dancer. They even encouraged me to chase my dreams and be brave enough to try a few classes. I've never danced before - EVER. And now I wish I had started years ago when my daughter did. We even had my son in a class a few

We love Dussich Dance studio! This is my daughters 5th year with the studio & she loves it! Not only has she made lifelong positive friends but her skills as a dancer & her overall love for dance has flourished beyond anything I could imagine! From the moment I first walked into Dussich Dance Studio, I knew I was home. Mrs. Liz is a phenomenal teacher whose love of dance is infectious. She truly cares about all the students and has prepared generations of young dancers for success in competition, performance, and teaching. The studio rooms are well appointed and have excellent floors for all styles of dance. When I was asking around for a top-notch dance studio, everyone told me, "Go to Dussich." Now I will tell you the same!

I have been dancing with DDS since 1978....yes, that many years ago! I love that there are options for the little ones as well as adults, and all in between. The instruction is top-notch, and many of the students have gone on to professional dance careers because of the excellent training by certified teachers. Tried the rest?...now try the best!
