Services
Our mission as a studio is to grow the dance community in Titusville by inspiring new dancers to try dancing, by providing excellent instruction to develop capable, confident dancers, and by creating a warm and exciting atmosphere at our events and in our studio where we can enjoy dancing. As teachers we seek out innovative ways to explain and make the technical aspects of dance clear and simple.

Group classes can be a great way to meet new people and get practice with other students. Typically the subject will be a particular dance and will run from 4 to 6 weeks. During that time, you will learn different techniques, characteristics, and figures for that particular dance. Regardless of the dance you are learning, we emphasize lead/follow and good movement so that dancing is smooth and effortless and fun.
Your footwear is a bit more important. You will need a comfortable shoe that will not fall off your foot while you are dancing. No clogs, slides, or flip flops. For ladies wearing sandals, make sure there is a strap across your heel to keep your foot from sliding inside the shoe. How many lessons or classes you will need to take is dependent upon a lot of factors.
We are here for you. Whether you just need a few lessons to get a little confidence or you want a Youtube worthy dance, we can help. We can also help with Father Daughter, Mother Son, or wedding party dances. Show your friends and family that you've got the moves! This is the package that will give you an eye-catching entrance, some interesting moves, and a fantastic finish that will wow everyone and make you YouTube famous.

The Downtown Dance Studio is one of the hidden gems of Brevard County. The studio has a friendly atmosphere, and the instructors are as good as any you'll find in Melbourne or Orlando. LaDonna and Louis are superb at focusing on technique for intermediate and advanced dancers, and Darlene is great at helping beginners learn the basic footwork and timing. The studio even has instructors with in-depth knowledge of specialized dances like the Argentine tango.

I have been going to this studio for over three years. I have been a ballroom dancer for 16 years. I love this studio. I am not by any means a professional. I'm not even an advanced dancer even though I have danced for so long. What's great about Downtown Dance Studio is that it doesn't matter whether you are a mere beginner, seasoned dancer or somewhere in the middle. This studio welcomes you with wide open arms. And, there are classes for each and every skill level with competent and patient instructors.

I do not normally take the time to write reviews but after 13 years attending and benefiting from the talented, friendly and affordable teachers and lessons at this renovated studio, it is the least I can do to show my gratitude for their patience and ability to make a dancer out of me!! I had always thought of myself as ungraceful and clumsy but I had always wanted to learn the Country Two Step so one year after my late husband passed away from a terminal illness I called them up for my first lesson. I was introduced to many other ballroom dance styles: Latin, Smooth etc. and it became my therapy
