Archival Arts' mission is to provide high-quality digital capture and limited edition prints on watercolor and canvas media to artists and galleries at reasonable rates. Our extensive experience in digital imaging and state-of-the-art equipment makes our workflow more efficient and therefore less expensive than most giclee studios.
We have been serving the Baltimore/D.C. area for over 15 years. In addition to our capture and printing services, we offer canvas stretching, framing, and finishing services, making Archival Arts a one-stop solution for any artist or photographer interested in selling high-quality reproductions of their work.

Services
Our TTI Copy Stand, equipped with a Phase One XF camera system, is capable of capturing, (scanning) any size original with extremely high resolution. Blacks, whites, and grays are balanced with each capture and a custom color profile is attached to ensure the best color matching possible before proofing.
For pricing any size paper, canvas, or photographic print, try our Pricing Calculator Spreadsheet. For pricing scanning and digital camera shots, try our Capture/Scanning calculator. Note that pricing for finished canvas prints should include the print, varnish, mounting or stretcher frame, and labor for stretching.
Archival Arts offers basic, high-end framing services for artists who need framing for resale. Our prices are usually much lower than the big box stores for custom framing. We do not offer retail framing for specialty items like T-shirts and objects. Due to the many variables for framing, we are not able to provide pricing on our website.

This is the only place I plan to go for art prints. The prices are fair, especially for such high quality items. The degree of customer service you receive from the moment you walk in the door is second to none. This is by far the best place in Maryland for art and framing needs.

I took some paintings there to be enlarged but had no experience with doing this. Laura was the receptionist who helped me. She was amazingly kind and pleasant and also VERY KNOWLEDGABLE and PROFESSIONAL. She also was extremely patient as I asked a lot of questions - not really knowing what I was doing.
The entire experience at Archival Arts was a very pleasant one. I interacted with 3 employees in total and each one was friendly and very helpful. This was a very nice experience.
PS They are tech savvy too!
