Elder Care Staffing Solutions
Elder Care Staffing Solutions focus is on engaging and developing the care plan around the whole person and their family. It is the concept that the human being is multi-dimensional. All factors are considered when developing a plan; the physical, emotional, social, economic and spiritual needs of the person and their family.

The staff and nurses at ECSS use their vast knowledge of hospital based nursing, case management and hospice care to design a plan of care that suits each individual client. We believe being proactive and all-inclusive in home care provides better overall outcomes.
Services
The mission of ECSS is to maintain a holistic approach to senior home care. We strive to provide quality supportive services and efficient care coordination, in the safety of our client's home. The agency is owned and operated by Karen Marousek and Grace Cognetta, both registered nurses with over 40 years of nursing experience.
Elder Care Staffing Solutions offers a myriad of services including companion care. Companion care is a trusted and reliable non-medical "friend", that offers companionship and supervision to seniors who are independent but require a little help. A companion from ECSS can provide interaction that makes life more enjoyable for your loved one, while putting your mind at ease.
Dementia and Alzheimer's not only affects the person with the disease but also their loved ones. Caring for a loved one with this disease presents a unique set of challenges. The caregivers at ECSS understand the disease and approach it with patience, understanding and acceptance. There are different stages of Dementia with no indication as to when the stages will advance.
A geriatric care manager is a health and human services expert. They can be a nurse, social worker, counselor, or gerontologist, who has experience with aging and long term care issues. ECSS care managers are Registered Nurses. They work with families as an experienced guide navigating the maze of the health care system.
We understand that being a caregiver for a family member is stressful, exhausting and a fulltime job. Today many people are caring for a loved one while working their own fulltime career and caring for their own children. This can cause stress, reduced sleep and unhealthy habits. Even if caring for a loved one has become a part of your daily routine, everyone needs a break.

My father was hospitalized in April, 2017. After a substantial stay in rehab, he came back home, but was in no condition to care for himself, nor was my mother able to give him the care he needed (both parents being 89 at the time). There was nothing I could do either, living 100 miles away from them; so we had to look for outside assistance.
The rehab facility recommended a care agency that shall remain nameless, because they provided a series of aides who were unable to get along with my mother, and one of whom stole more than $1,000 from her by forging her signature checks.
Fortunately, I
