I recently closed on selling my first home. Stephanie Poage was fabulous to work with through the whole experience. She answered all my questions whether by phone or email in a quick, friendly and professional manner. I would highly recommend this title company and will definitely use them again in the future!

Not only was nobody wearing a mask during covid but this company did not switch over our water utility until we called to remind them. They made several mistakes that had to be corrected at signing which took more time than it should have. If you are a seller beware. To the owner of this company I don't write poor reviews to hurt your business. Learn from this and do better.

I have done many closings as an investor -this by far has been the worst experience. I submitted my documents weeks before closing and then did not hear anything, even after leaving multiple voice mails and sending emails. Very unresponsive. A few hours before closing, I finally received the settlement statement - there were three errors and then they forgot to include the selling realtors commission so there was another $6000 hit to my bottom line. I am very disappointed in their professionalism and quality of service. They are one of the few title companies that will do double closings, but never

I was a signer for the seller and also the listing agent for a recent transaction.
Upon purchase of the property, a reduced rate was promised for a property my company intended to flip if we sold with Tiago on the exit side. The reduced rate was expressed in an email.
My company agreed.
We get to figures (same day of close-last minute), and owner's title policy is not the reduced rate. Their response was that the person who expressed the reduced rate is no longer working there and that person made a mistake.
In order to close, my company had to take the temporary hit. Now I get to sue them

Tiago Title stole $1700 from me at a property closing. As I was selling a flipped house, I was forced to pay the taxes on the house from the year before I bought it (Purchased in Feb 2018, paid for 2017). After requesting a resolution to this matter, the owner of Tiago, Mike, seemed reasonable and helpful. Then I never heard from him again. Even though I had title insurance, it didn't help because I could not get the info on how to file a claim, since Tiago's title insurance is run through the company. Don't trust this company, or the owner, Mike Zara. They will take from you.

I had a closing set for 4:30pm. I get there and nothing is ready. Then I sign as they requested and think im ready to go. Only to get a call the next day that it wasn't written correctly so I have to go back in, I go back in and my name is spelled wrong so I wait another 1.5 hours to sign then i didn't get my check correct so I go back in and wait another 30 minutes. Oh and now they say I need to call them again, but don't tell me why or about what;apparently they can't leave a voicemail or an email to explain. I understand lenders are specific but you need to double check as well.

I've done many real estate transactions and never had such a bad experience with a title company. They did not file the paperwork required to transfer the water or trash and they recorded the wrong sale price with the county. I've asked 6 times to get the sale price corrected and nothing has happened.
