I bring to the PMHNP role, 38 years experience as a registered nurse, including a broad background in critical care, medical- surgical, oncology, occupational medicine and wellness. I firmly believe mental, spiritual and physical health are inextricably intertwined, and I recognize the necessity of offering patients individualized, respectful care heedful of those connections.
As a long-time resident of the area, it's been a privilege to have served our communities in different capacities over the years. My husband and I raise English mastiffs and anticipate that soon some of our 'gentle giants' will be ready to join us in the community as volunteers, and if a patient desires, to contribute to the practice as therapy dogs.
