The Crisis Pregnancy Center, Inc. was established in 1985 as a 501(c)(3) corporation and was started by a group of men and women with the desire to help women make strong choices for their futures. The center has been opened steadily since 1990. The name was changed in 2001 to the Pregnancy Care Center of Tiftarea.
Even if you have taken a home pregnancy test, it's important to have a diagnosis from a medical professional. A lab-quality, urine-based pregnancy test will be offered to you free of charge. Regardless of the results, we are here for you. We care about you and your overall health and well-being. If you want written verification of your pregnancy, bring photo identification, and the verification will be given to you at the end of your appointment.

It is your right to be informed about pregnancy options, to know what procedure might be used, and the risks associated with each. Just because you may be experiencing these symptoms may not necessarily mean you are pregnant. Only a Physician can diagnose pregnancy. The only way for you to know for sure that you are pregnant is to have an ultrasound exam so that our Medical Director may confirm that you have a viable intrauterine pregnancy.
