18 year customer … they said I needed an upgrade …I did that …went to cancel my service and they said when I got that upgrade I signed a three year contract …I WAS TOTALLY UNAWARE OF THIS … why after 18 years would I sign a three year contract…I believe I’ve been a pretty loyal customer ..always paid on time ..
Now I have decided to go with a different company …due to the fact that you did not provide what I now need and I was told to pay 1000.00 ….OMG …. SHE WAS SO RUDE AS WELL

Although the service techs have generally been very good, I don't care for the company's business practices. I requested a quote for a system upgrade. The account executive wanted to push me into signing a contract quickly. I'm happy I did my research. Protech wanted $1400 to replace the control unit and add a video doorbell...and wanted a check for 50% up front. The rest was to be paid in full after the work was done. All of the old wired sensors, panels and smoke detectors would be reused. I purchased a new ADT wireless system, including sensors, panel, three new smoke/fire

The entire ProTech Team was super customer service oriented and really worked to get the job - not just done, but DONE RIGHT. Move on from this company and call Secur-I-com. Protech is not customer focused. I bought a new home with and existing security system. I called Protech to come out and perform a test on the existing system and they refused unless I signed up for a multi year service agreement ahead of time. I called Secur-i-com and they had a tech there the next day. No mandate for a monitoring contract. Just good customer service.
