Services
Telluride Veterinary Clinic is a full-service, small animal veterinary clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care in the town of Telluride and gondola accessible. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our companion animals we stress the importance of an annual physical examination for cats and dogs under seven years of age, over seven years we recommend biannual visits as a year in their lifespan is equal to more than four years of our lifespan. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help identify problems early and allow us to intervene early.
We are proud of our wonderful new dental machine (ultrasonic scaler, power water and air, polisher and drill) and digital dental radiograph (X-ray) capability. The most common problem we see in our patients is dental disease. Just as you and I brush our teeth but still have to have them cleaned periodically so do our pets.
Domestic health certificates are easy! We just need your animal's vaccination information and a quick appointment. Different airlines have different requirements. Check their website for more information. Any animal traveling in cargo needs a health certificate and often a statement of acclimitazation.

Called at 9:30/10pm at night. Got through to their emergency line and the woman who answered (assuming the vet on call) was told what happened to our dog. She proceeded to listen to it all then yawn and tell us she didn't think it was worth her going in to check him. Ended up driving 2 hours to Grand Junction to have our dog hospitalized overnight. Disgusting attitude and no professionalism. Would give zero if possible

My husband had to bring our 16 year old pup to this facility on our daughter's wedding day and have her put to rest.
We are from California and our beloved Gidget began suffering on this trip.
I am forever grateful that this vet assured my husband that we were making the best decision.
I am sad I wasn't able to be with her. It is such a tough call to make and I thank you for your care and understanding.
