I've had Humpback come out a few times for various jobs, from hauling away a deck I ripped up to general junk one generates during a big move. Every time they have been quick and pleasant to work with. One time they even offered to help me move some outdoor furniture into place because they saw me doing so while they were clearing out junk! I don't remember their names, but everyone was very clear that I would pay based on how much space my junk took up in their truck and that a visual estimate may be off and need to be adjusted for reality. I needed a number of items/rubbish from my new house hauled to the dump. Called around and Humpback was easily the most professional sounding over the phone vs. the other junk removal companies I called. They showed up during the scheduled time frame and hauled off the items I needed removed. Much easier than renting a roll off dumpster.

Had a phenomenal experience with Humpback Junk Removal. I've had a storage unit that I'd been meaning to clean out for awhile, but didn't have the means of tackling old bulky furniture. I had a very positive experience with Humpback Junk Removal. I called them in the morning and they were able to come out that same day in the afternoon to give me an on-site estimate and remove my junk. The cubic yard estimate and pricing was pretty accurate to what they show on their website via the "estimate how much junk you have" feature, so we weren't surprised by the cost at all. I felt no pressure to upsell nor did I feel like they were upping prices on-site. Awful experience. I purchased a LivingSocial deal. Their driver was super, super aggressive, wouldn't honor the voucher amount and became angry when I wouldn't bite on his up-sell. Scary aggressive. I put in a call to Humpback Junk and they've not responded. I will definitely not use them in the future, or their sister company. Thank goodness LivingSocial is easy to work with.

On the phone with Living Social as I write this. Humpback and their four cubic yards of junk removal for $89 is a TOTAL SCAM. These pieces of garbage showed up at my house to remove junk I had all piled from getting my house ready to sell. Nothing out of the oridinary, nothing that doesn't qualify for removal as per their ad or the fine print. The size of the area I had piled the junk was less that 4 cubic yards. Their TRUCK wasn't big enough to hold 4 cubic yards. Yet they charged me $292 total AFTER they loaded the junk. If Living Social doesn't resolve this immediately, I will be contacting
