I took a trunkload of bagged up styrofoam containers of all shapes and sizes to Duke's Drop-Off center, and I was immediately greeted when I pulled up. The attendant cheerfully removed all my bags of styrofoam quickly and efficiently. I am happy that I discovered Duke's, as we plan to do some updates to our home and will be able to deposit unwanted items here that we would prefer not wind up in a landfill.

I just moved to this area and have had a lot of material to recycle. The folks at Duke's have been a life saver. They are all extremely courteous, friendly, and easy to work with. I highly recommend using them for your recycling needs. They charge a small fee, but it is well worth it. These guys are total pros.

Why drive to the dump? I was getting rid of some glass shower doors and glass bookcase drawers that were very think and heavy. Drove all the way out to the dump to be turned away because of rain impacting driving conditions out there.
Duke’s took all of my stuff off of my hands at a very reasonable price and much closer that the dump. Super convenient!

This was a great place to recycle some stuff that we didn't need any more. We had a bookcase that we couldn't use because it was broken. We also had a lot of packing paper and cardboard (that we also dropped off here).
What I really liked about this place is that the person who I spoke to seemed very honest. He looked at what I had and initially quoted an amount. But after unloading the car, he reduced the price. He said that the quantity we had was less than what he originally thought it would be before we unloaded the car. This was a pleasant surprise

My boyfriend and I LOVE Duke's for general junk drop off. It's also so easy to pop in and drop off and they are always so nice and helpful- at both locations. It's been a real blessing after moving into our latest house with all the stuff we've had to remove around the house and yard especially (why is there so much PVC pipe that doesn't connect to anything?!) and getting rid of some of our old, duplicate stuff. What a relief this place is making it so easy, convenient, and affordable. Highly, highly recommend! Absolutely 5 stars.

Moving. Faced with big unwieldy mattress topping, a large pool storage bin, and a few other oversized undesired pieces. Small enough to fit in a large SUV (in several loads) and not interested in scheduling someone to come out to do a pick up, or visiting the landfill.
So what to do? Give a call to Duke's, drive over, and have them unload and take off our hands for a small reasonable fee. Pleasant fast, great to have these guys in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

I called beforehand to get an estimate for a mattress I would be dropping off. The price was very affordable, especially when compared with other junking hauling / mattress recycling centers. Once I arrived, the process of dropping off my mattress and going about my day was super straightforward. I definitely recommend Duke's Junk Recycling!

We went over to Duke's to get rid of styrofoam from a 65" tv box after confirming by phone that they would take it. Styrofoam is not recyclable in the household pick-up way, and until we found out about Duke's we would take everything we accumulated to Austin resource recovery. Thank goodness we found Duke's!

Found these guys driving by on Burnet. Wanted to get rid of two car batteries responsibly. The guys there were great and took them no problem. If your looking to get rid of some old junk and don't want to run out to the dump, this is your place. I liked that they do their best to be eco friendly too.
