He was a strong believer in honesty, integrity and treating everyone with respect. He later married Octavia Smith Jenkins. Together, they continued to touch the lives of many and contributed greatly to the civic, religious, and educational life of this and surrounding communities. Mrs. Octavia Jenkins and their daughter, Ms. Octavia Jenkins Mahone continued the legacy of the founder after his death.

They are always so professional and kind out family always used them. When it came time for my mom's home-going there was nobody else we we could think of. They took a very hard time for us and made it so breezy from the casket to the way my loved one was presented and honored they took care with each step. She forgot what kind of flowers we ordered and to top it off withiut knowing for sure THIS LADY CALLED US AND TOLD US OUR POLICY WAS NOT ACTIVE SO WE NEED 20K CASH SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES PAY MORE MONEY JUST DONT USE ROSCOE JENKINS FUNNERAL HOME
