Our record keeping and appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet (while being environmentally friendly). Dr. Jessica Klein is a Sonoma County native, growing up in Healdsburg from the age of 7. She completed her B.S in Animal Science with a minor in Chemistry and Biology and graduated cum laude from Chico State University. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 2008 and promptly moved back to Sonoma County where she has been working ever since.
Love, love, love Dr. Klein! She's been caring for our two dogs and three cats for the last few years, and she's been amazing! We feel like we hit the jack pot when we found her. She's so loving with our animals, and really goes above and beyond to ensure that they are getting the very best care. Not only is she outstanding with all of our animals, she is extremely thorough in communicating.

We switched veterinarians after a sad and scary experience at a previous office. Dr. Klein examined Winston to make sure he was doing ok after his complications following his previous surgery elsewhere. She is so knowledgeable and sweet! She gave us a thorough explanation of everything going on with our dog. The staff was very friendly. We loved our experience and Winston says thank you for seeing him and taking care of him on such short notice.

Has been my go to vet since they opened for my own pets as well as pets in my care. However, my last few visits have been horrible experiences. This veterinary practice was top of the line in the beginning but has only declined since.
The last straw was when Dr. Sheehy very inappropriately handled my terribly… nervous dog. Forced to wait in my car, he took my dog to the back where I could hear her crying… inside the building, FROM INSIDE my vehicle. I see the front desk staff run to the back and shortly after he DRAGS my dog out by her pinch collar… lifting her up OFF THE GROUND

We just love everyone at Wine Country Vet. They’ve gone out of their way to help us with the passing of two dogs. Dr. Kevin worked with me for two years to control my dog’s diabetes. He is compassionate and caring and one of my favorite people in the world. Lee Ann, Susan and Becca are the best too. We’ve had a couple of bad veterinary experiences so we appreciate all of them tremendously. We’re clients for life.

What a wonderful experience for us and our kitty. So kind and caring. Buddy has had an eye infection for a couple of months. Our old vet was hard to get an appointment and mixed him up with another cat and gave him the wrong treatment. We were referred to Wine Country Veterinary Hospital by a good friend. Thank God. His eye is almost cleared up. So kind and loving.

Hubba Bubba loves his friends here! He was there just yesterday where he went through a pretty extensive dental procedure and we could not have felt better about his care. The staff is friendly, attentive,… responsive and compassionate with both their patients and their people. We are forever grateful to have such great care for our new/old man so close to home.

My neighbor Melody recently recommended Wine Country Vet after an incident with my previous vet that led to the untimely death of my daughters 2 year old cat. Wine country staff is so nice & informative. The Vets have done a great job in assembling a great team of like minded compassionate animal lovers, and it shows. I wish I would have found them sooner.

I followed Dr. Sheehy here from another office, because he is the only vet my cat will let touch him. He is kind, gentle and spends the time needed to help me take the best possible care of my precious companion. The staff is amazing and they take a personal interest in my needs as well as my pet’s. I can’t speak highly enough of this place! Dr. Klein has incredible instincts as a vet and was able to almost immediately diagnose my cat Duva of asthma, as confirmed by an external radiologist, while my previous vet thought that her mysterious choking/coughing fits might be indicative of pneumonia, cancer, or even FIP. I was hugely relieved and… now, with the help of an inhaler, Duva is a top-notch breather!! Dr. Klein also treated my rabbit and from what I understand, she treats many other exotics, which is quite rare. All of the technicians and receptionists I interacted with were

The staff here are professional, warm, caring and awesome! My dachshund, Tyson, had major surgery last week and they took such wonderful care of him and myself. I was a wreck and their concern for my feelings… was heartfelt. They took time to explain the surgery, called me during surgery, and then let me know when he was out and awake. I was given a packet of paperwork that explained what they did, including before and after photos, pictures of the xrays, and complete aftercare. Their compassion for my Tyson was beautiful.
