I cant thank Ted and his team enough for all of their work in getting my refinace done exceeding all expectations (again!) - a seemingly smooth process from start to finish! If others need trustworthy and efficient mortgage refinance I would highly recomend they call KMG!. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We just got the keys to our very first home yesterday thanks to Jenny, Ted and the KMG team. We have always heard how hard the homeownership process was and getting into the market right now is a scary time. NOT with Kappel Mortgage. They made the process so smooth. When I first spoke to Ted, he seemed like an awesome guy. Seemed willing to help and outgoing. After submitting our information, we had to reach out to Ted to follow up. Sometimes twice a day. Let me say that I submitted my documents on 01/09/2021 and it is now 01/25/2021 and still haven't heard back. After multiple follow ups, the last text message I received from Ted was on 01/15/2021 saying "I have you down to contact later this afternoon. I have a few meetings then will be finishing up on your file." I have yet to hear from Ted and on multiple occasions he said he would call

My wife and I had just made an offer on a beautiful home that was literally teetering on whether we could afford it or not. We were both so in love with the house that we couldn't help ourselves from making an offer, unfortunately another couple thought the same thing.

My husband and I worked with Ted Kappel for our original mortgage in 2013, and through 2 refinances - one in 2015 and one in 2019. We have specifically come back to him each time because of the service he provides! He is very prompt, is willing to answer all our questions, and goes above and beyond to find the best mortgage options. We have always priced the possible rates with Kappel, Morgan Stanley, Chase bank, and for the original mortgage one other mortgage broker - and every time the rates with Kappel were better. This last time we refinanced I only checked with 1 other firm and again Kappel

Dan Walker is seriously amazing!! We purchase our first home in August of 2012 using Dan at KMG and walked in to our new home with nothing at closing and the best interest rate, he also found us special funding to help with our down payment!! He worked wonders for us, we are truly appreciative of his work and commitment to us through the home buying process!!

Couldn't agree with Lisa F more... Dan Walker goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything is in line with my loan. I have been working with him since 2011 for some FHA streamlines and he comes through all the time. I keep in touch with him for advise. If you are looking to do a refi of any kind go with Dan Walker.

Dan Walker at KMG was beyond great. We had a somewhat complicated situation for our remodel using a construction loan then converting to a Jumbo loan combined with some other out of the box issues. Dan not only researched the very best percentage rate but personally called the manager of the department at the bank to explain our situation (my husband is a partner in his firm and doesn't receive "paycheck" stubs but distributions- this was confusing for them in their automated check the box world). Dan with patience and confidence took care of all of this and never even let us know

Chris's review is dead on. I purchased my home just over a year ago. My experience with them was so horrible. It took nearly 2 months to close and the whole time it was oh we will close by end of the week, then Friday would hit and would be early next week. It is always someone else fault on the delay. Our first appraisal took like 3 weeks, then a second had to be ordered and they got a non-FHA appraisal so then had to do a 3rd. The delay cost me nearly $2000 with vacation days taken for closing that didnt happen, I had a person ready to take my lease but they backed out when I had to pull

If I could, I would give KMG Real Estate Finance negative stars. Our mortgage broker, Heather Henson, deceived us throughout the escrow process, leading to an awful home buying experience. When our loan fell through, our broker blamed it on a miscommunication with the Bank, when in reality she failed to submit paperwork in time. Our real estate agent was fed one story while we were given another, which resulted in a lot of confusion and frustration.
