We're an employer model home care agency dedicated to serving those who are recovering, convalescing or aging wherever they call home. We provide comprehensive personal care, custodial and companion care, transportation and medication reminders through caregivers who are employees of the agency.
At Home Caregivers provides a comprehensive array of personalized services to support the unique needs and circumstances of our clients and their families. At Home Caregivers is a full service Home Care Agency and as such is the employer of record. We do not provide service using independent contractor caregivers. No! As the employer of record, At Home Caregivers withholds and remits all applicable federal, state and local taxes. Do you carry Worker's Compensation insurance to protect clients from being sued if an employee is hurt on the job?
At Home Caregivers hires only compassionate, experienced and reliable caregivers. All our Caregivers have passed an extensive background check process which includes state and federal fingerprinting, checking of references and verification of previous employment.
Before we place our Caregivers in service, they must complete the California Dept of Social Services Home Care Aides (HCA) registration process which includes five hours of annual training, fingerprinting and a TB test.We then train them to meet our "Legendary Caregiver Services" standard of care. We have developed a program of ongoing training and recognition for our outstanding caregivers.

We have had the pleasure of having At Home Caregivers in our home for the last five years. They have been caring for my husband who has dementia.
Peter Rubens, the owner, is amazing! Especially in what he expects from his caregivers. They are definitely well trained and professional.
I fully trust the caregivers to do what is best for my husband and they really care about him and treat him like family.
We always look forward to the annual Christmas party and entertainment. It has been an excellent experience and we just won't go anywhere else!

At Home Caregivers was fabulous in every respect. They sent a caregiver out to my wedding to assist my father during the event, and they worked hard before hand to accommodate my requests regarding my wedding. They were very professional and easy to reach. And they were willing to send a caregiver out for this single event, where many companies will only work with you if you sign a contract for weekly service.

The service we have received has been by highly qualified caregivers. There have been some glitches as far as scheduling goes, but overall, the service has been excellent. It's always difficult to leave our loved ones in the care of someone else, but we've felt very comfortable and confident with the folks that came to us.

At Home Caregivers cared for my mother for over one year. My mother was initially reluctant to accept in-home care, but they were highly recommended by a friend so we gave them a try. We couldn't have asked for better overall support. Their staff was professional and caring, and helped us navigate through my mother's various health and mobility challenges. The caregivers were very compassionate and dependable. They helped with her daily life, including bathing, dressing and transferring her (she was at risk for falling). At Home Caregivers has been caring for my Mother for 3 years now -- ever since my Mother received a dementia diagnosis. Their staff have been excellent with her; working with her in an Assisted Living facility. I initially contacted At Home because I could not reach another home care service I had been using and my Mother needed assured 24X7 care following a hospital visit. At Home Care took care of my father in law for 3 months during the night. Their caregivers were open to all instructions and directions. The scheduler and office staff responded quickly to requests, calls and text messages. The staff always had to check in when they arrived and left the apartment. The owner was also very responsive. Would recommend them!
