Services
At our funeral home, we understand the importance of family. We believe in treating your family as we would our own. To do that, it's best you know a little about us first - please explore this section so that you may learn about our caring staff, our beautiful facilities, and our history of service.
More than 89 years have gone by since Kenneth Holman began serving his friends and neighbors in their times of need. The philosophy of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations is the same today as when it was founded in 1929: Provide every family with personalized service combined with the flexibility to arrange a funeral service as unique as the individual you are honoring at a price that is affordable to every family that has requested service.
The truth is, many people don't realize how many ways there are to individualize a service. Since 1929 Holman's has been offering services as unique and special as the person we are honoring. Here at Holman's Funeral Home we offer a range of services and pricing, which helps every family, honor their loved one in ways meaningful to them.
Today Holman Funeral Home remains the oldest independent, locally-owned funeral home in Dale County, offering the same personalized service, flexibility, and affordability for "honoring someone special" that it has provided since 1929, when it was established by Adrian's father, Kenneth Holman.

By the time Adrian purchased the business from his father in 1972, he was already a well-seasoned mortician, riding along on ambulance trips when he was just nine years old and assisting with actual funeral services by age 12. Licensed by the State of Alabama Board of Funeral Service as an apprentice embalmer at only 15 years old, Adrian soon began making ambulance calls with a licensed assistant driver.
Your impression of the quality and value of our services is very important to us.
