For over 20 years, the yoga teachers of TriYoga(R) of Central Pennsylvania have been sharing the gifts of healing and relaxation with the State College, Boalsburg, Bellefonte, and Spring Mills communities, and more recently, in our Online Yoga Studio. Based on our own experiences as teachers and students, we believe in the power of yoga to transform bodies, minds, spirits, and lives.

We're friends and neighbors, thick and thin, bendy and tight, young and old, dabblers and experts. We believe yoga improves your life no matter what brings you in the door, how often you come or how far you take it. As certified yoga teachers, we are trained to help bodies expand safely and comfortably into new possibilities through all stages of life.

Our Story

Well-being for all. This mission came to life in 2000 when our founding director and senior-level TriYoga(R) teacher Theresa Shay moved to the area, bringing a love for TriYoga and a passion for sharing it with others. Classes began in a tiny office in downtown State College, where six students made for a full house.
Membership Information

Our flexible TriYoga(R) memberships give you access to all our classes at every yoga studio location and for our Online Yoga Studio. Missing a yoga class due to a schedule conflict or travel? Make up at any studio or online, any time (space permitting) within the period of your membership. Our memberships and passes are set up to help establish a rhythm of yoga in your routine while remaining flexible to suit your life.

TriYoga(R) is a revolutionary system of yoga founded by Yogini Kaliji and taught in more than 40 countries. The style includes flowing sequences balanced with held postures, joined by the breath. Fundamentals include relaxation-in-action, wave-like spinal movements and economy of motion. The systematic approach allows students to remain in Basics or progress to advanced levels.
Spring Mills

Nestled against a wooded hillside near Sinking Creek in Penns Valley, this TriYoga(R) center welcomes students from the valley, neighboring State College, and the larger TriYoga family. Weekly classes, teacher trainings, private sessions, and community events are held here on a regular basis.

We teach in the style of TriYoga, a practice that combines traditional yoga postures in a flowing yoga style, joined with yoga breathing practices and mental focus known as mudra.The result is a yoga flow that addresses physical and mental health, simultaneously able to energize the body and calm the mind.

Download and test Zoom on your preferred device before class time so you are sure you know how to connect with us. Reservations for online and studio classes may be canceled anytime before the class begins. Reservations for most events may be canceled up to 24 hours before the event.
