Basignani Winery
They've done a really nice job creating a socially distanced set-up! If you rather not sit near other people, you can bring your own chair and hang out on the lawn under the trees. We sat outside. The wine is great, there was live music, the tree were changing colors for the fall and beautiful, and the pizza was the best we've had since we moved to Maryland.

Also. There were 2 dogs walking around that lived there. They were very good pups, calm and they loved pets. They visited everyone outside. I wish I had asked one of the employees what kind of dog they are, so soft and well behaved. You may not have more than 6 people together at a table. You are also welcome to bring your own chairs (recommended) and socially distance on our lawn in groups of no more than 20 people.
Services
Parties of 30 people or less $1000 Flat Rate (up to 4 hours) includes the rental of the Pavilion and tables and chairs. Parties of 30 to 65 people $1500 Flat Rate (Up to 4 hours) One case of wine (mixed case ok) minimum purchase required. Over 65 people $1800. You can cater the event on your own or purchase pizza from our oven at an additional cost depending on availability.
For these special concerts tickets will be $10 per person available on TicketLeap first come first serve. Come for the wine, stay for Jerry. There are wine tastings where they give you some random wine you know nothing about, let you try them just to sell you a bottle or two. At the Basignani Winery you get an amazing experience from people who love what they do.

Recently visited the winery. The winery was nice and the tasting room was cozy. The wine was tasteful. The staff in the tasting room were very nice. The owner Lynn could be kinder. There wasn't much of a warm feeling when speaking to her. We felt that since we were not regulars to the winery, we weren't very welcomed. All staff should be friendly when customers travel to a winery, especially the owner, and most importantly when purchasing a large amount of wine. Cheers!

Dropped by for a wine tasting with friends.
Seating is all outside, with many folks bringing their own tables and food to accompany purchased wine. The staff provides small wine glasses, and were very kind to our group.
The margarita pizza (was a special) was fantastic, flavorful garlicy buttery crispy crust, fresh tomatoes, solid mozzarella. Best pizza I have had in a long time. Friends with similar taste agreed regarding pizzas that were not specials
The wine tasting was very pleasant, and it was a pleasure to hear more about the winemaking process and the considerations that go into each

My husband and I cannot express enough how amazing Basignani and their team is!! We had the joy of marrying at the winery and it was simply magical. The Basignani team is so great to work with and made the planning process a breeze. They are flexible and attentive. We are so happy to have these memories at a place we can visit again and again. And the wine is phenomenal to boot! Our guests and taste buds were so pleased. Perfection.

My fiance and I have enjoyed many weekend dates at Basignani Winery. The wine (especially the fresh sangria) & brick oven pizza & atmosphere & often live music stand out from other wineries in the area. We often bring family & friends to share the experience and continue making memories. We received information for having our wedding there in October 2022. Hopefully we will hear back to confirm details.

We arrived at Basignani well over an hour before they closed. It was a last minute decision after we’d been hiking nearby. After we parked and got out of our car, we were met in the parking lot by an employee who told us they were closing in a half hour and then encouraged us to leave. It was a strange and unwelcoming encounter. We visit wineries in the tri-state area almost every weekend, but after today, we will not be back to this one.

So my husband and I decided to stop by this winery after dropping her daughter off at camp. We approached the counter where it said "wine check in here" and we waited patiently as there were two other parties in front of us being served. We observed the server not looking our direction at all knowing that we were waiting for service. She proceeded to cater to the two groups in front of us and wipe down the table and wipe down the table, Everything but acknowledge our presence. Most proprietors might say I'll be with you in a moment or welcome or something. It is very obvious,

Small rustic winery off the beaten path. No tastings and there was no brick oven pizza available today. The sangria was not bad. $13 for a tiny Brie wheel and 1/4 sleeve of crackers you cut up yourself.

I have been going with a few friends for their member wine club release party for a few years now and something I look forward to every 3 months. I have since also become a wine member myself. I live very close to here and now go more often than just release party as it’s a great afternoon with wine and their brick oven pizza. I’m gluten free and bring my own crust to use and they are very accommodating!

My friend and I were looking for a Covid friendly activity and Basignani had good reviews so we decided to check it out. It was the perfect Fall day when we went and there was plenty of outdoor seating for us to enjoy a bottle of wine. We tried the Rosé and it was light, crisp, & tasty! The wine list included a good mix of red, white, and sparkling wines at affordable prices. They also had a small food menu so you could munch as you drank. I definitely plan to return and try some of their other wines.

The Elena Rosé is amazing! I haven't had a Rosé this good since I lived in Southern California. A girlfriend of mine and I came here in October and the weather was perfect.

Where to start? The location is beautiful, spacious, and easy to find. The drive to Basignani, at least for me, is beautiful! They have decent food offerings although nothing gluten free it seems which is sad for me.

You have PLENTY of space. PLENTY. This is one of the safest places I went to during COVID. I was very selective about where I went and I am so glad they made the cut. I had been wanting to come here for

This winery is pretty close to home and it was my first time here, my 2nd weekend in a row wandering the wineries. Great atmosphere, live music and the part in my opinion is the hot & fresh brick oven pizza made to order. You can reserve a table underneath the tented area or you can free lance it, bring your own lawn chairs and pick your own spot on the open lawn. It is kid & dog friendly. Outside snacks were allowed in. They have about 11-12 different wine choices, your typical reds, whites, sweet & dry. I'm a sweet wine drinker so I purchased their Vidal which is their sweetest

First time going to a winery. We didn't really get any explanations of the wines and the employee was very curt, which defeated the purpose of the wine tasting. Perhaps it was just the employee who served us. I wouldn't recommend the experience.

We went to total wine afterwards where we did a free wine tasting and got a nice bottle of wine. You can't beat total wine.

Took my mother here for Mother's Day weekend to do a tasting and it was a GREAT experience. The tasting room is nicely decorated and has a cozy feel to it. We were served as soon as we walked through the door. We tried 6 of the wines listed on the menu and picked out our fave. We took two bottles home with us. We had a dinner reservation shortly after so didn't get to spend as much time but plan to return before the summer is over. Very nice vineyard

Came here as a girls trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a very cold day but Basignani had a very nice outdoor tent setup with quality operable heaters.

For the tastings, we had a very knowledgeable gentleman to guide us through the samples. He gave the story on the grapes in each wine, where they come from, how they are processed, and the proper etiquettes for swirling and checking the legs.

This was my first time at the winery but I've had their wines at many festivals. I typically do the Vidal and Monkton Moon but this time I fell in love with the Riesling. Very good stuff.
