Walked in on a Monday night and met Lori. I had a gap to fill and she showed me some cool 'wannado' pieces from her sketchbook, so we chose a piece she was excited to tattoo. She got her station set up, sized and placed the stencil, and got to work. Lori did a great job - she's fast and light-handed, proficient in linework and shading, and an interesting person with whom to hang out and talk for a couple hours. Truly a pleasure. Thanks Lori!

Went along with a friend. These guys are true experts and are lighthearted. We really enjoyed them. Not only did they work clean but super fast. My friends getting the work done are pretty big chickens and were scared to get their first tattoos. Our awesome artist made it SUPER easy. Smitty has been doing my tattoos for 8 years. He has never failed me. He has done my oldest son’s second tattoo, he would have done his first but he lives out of state. He did my youngest sons first and my son… will be back for more and has agreed that Smitty will now be his artist. It’s just a great place good vibes. I highly recommend. The parrot and purple rose we’re coverups. The Las Vegas one was my sons.

Great studio in Southern Highlands area. I called on a Friday right when they opened & asked if they could see me for a consultation & possible appointment. Cadillac Mike (cool dude) was available so I went & in a half hour later he began a cute heart design over a scar I wanted to cover on my hip. There was great music playing and lots of Star Wars themed toys to keep you entertained. It's got a great Bay Area neighborhood vibe...not Vegas cray! Prices are very fair. I will be back & highly reccomend.

I don't even know where to begin about how AMAZING Smitty is! This was a spontaneous addition & worth it! Smitty is a true artist who brings your ideas alive with his personal touches. Not only is he a talented, but so personable. He made sure the time flew by making us laugh and comfortable. Hands down, we will never go anywhere else, we found the perfect artist!

Smitty is the best! I gave him some ideas of what I was looking for but having trouble putting into an actual design. He took those rough ideas and brought them to life in a beautiful way. His shop is so clean and comfortable. In a great location with a fun atmosphere. Prices are great. I've gone to Tatt Life twice and I will absolutely be going again. I can't say enough good things about Smitty and Tatt Life Studios. Give it a shot, you'll be so glad you did!!!!

I'm a moderately tattooed person, with over 20 pieces done. Out of all the shops I've been to none compare to the quality and knowledge that smitty at tatt life offers. Easy to talk to and takes obvious pride in his work I've been to the studio twice and both times been blown away with the art I walked out with. I cannot wait for smitty to continue adding onto this canvas! Smitty is also a cosplayer into starwars, spiderman and other cool fandome. Cadillac Mike was amazing. I came in to Vegas from Colorado Springs on vacation. Although I had wanted my tattoo for a while, it wasn't until I got in that I decided that I would get it here. After looking online at lots of reviews and pictures, I found Tatt Life. He helped me make my beautiful tattoo come to life. He was friendly and helpful with what I wanted and the shop was easy to find and CLEAN. He even fit me into his schedule so that I could get the tattoo before I left. I'm definitely coming back!

I have mixed feelings about this studio.
I was excited to find a studio that I could bring in my own artwork for a Friday the 13th tattoo. Hear me out-- this was going to be my second tattoo, and I was literally bringing in a pre-done design that pretty much just needed to be transferred & traced. The first thing that I thought was an interesting choice was that they only had one artist working the Friday the 13th line, while two other artists were doing normal sessions in back. It was literally a 5 hour line (which, believe me, I was expecting going into an event like this) but I just thought

I'm both disappointed and furious. I'm trying not to be a livid maniac, but shhh is hard.
People post positive reviews here, and that's great. However, here's my rather different experience.
Went to one artist, who loves Star Trek and has a bald head. Should I say his name or is that too much? Ok. I'll say his name. Smitty... He was supposed to do the tat in ONE sitting for a set price. He finishes apx 1/2, then tells me that I have to come back and pay more. This didn't bother me because he did such a great job (THE FIRST TIME ONLY, it turns out). The (first)

I believe my artists name was Jeremy. He was very friendly and accommodating to me. I only got a small tattoo on my wrist but he treated me as any client there to spend hundreds! His other artwork was all very good and there was Futurama playing in the background to distract me from the pain! Haha. If I want any more tattoos I'm surely returning here. I also felt pretty good about the cleanliness of the shop. Thanks, Jeremy!!

I have been wanting a finger tattoo for so long but was nervous to get one because i wanted it in arabic writing and was nervous if it would look good: i was on vacay in Vegas and decided to take the plunge and get it done with Smitty. Best decision ever! He was so nice and knew exactly what he was doing. The arabic writing was perfect and it looks so sleek. Next time I am in Vegas i will defiantly do my third tattoo with Smitty! A trip to Vegas is never complete without a tattoo and getting a tattoo at Smitty's shop is absolutely the best way to go! My husband and I have made two trips to Vegas and both times we had the pleasure of getting inked by Smitty. Smitty makes getting a tattoo enjoyable.
