Mr. Long is also our current FIieldhouse Director, Technology Teacher & Asst Basketball Coach. Eric has over 25 years experience in education as a classroom teacher, administrator and coach. In the classroom, Mr. Long as instructed in the areas of Math, Science and Business. He graduated from the University of St. Francis with a Bachelors in Finance and Mathematics.
Eric also holds a Masters in Educational Leadership from WIU as well as a Masters in Curriculum from Olivet Nazarene. A former college basketball coach and player, Coach Long has led 3 different high school programs to 5 total regional championships. Eric is married to YCHS English teacher Kimberly Long.

What happens when heart meets mission - Yorkville Christian High School! As leaders in our community, John and Michelle Stewart, had a heart to help develop teens to become strong leaders for future generations. In 2014, Yorkville Christian High School opened its door in a temporary facility.
Four years later, through God's guidance and blessings, a new school facility was built ready to energize, educate, and impact students to carry out God's plan for their lives in His Kingdom.Through support from our founders, parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends, Yorkville Christian High School will be able to continue its mission of providing Christ-centered learning to future leaders.

At Yorkville Christian High School the Word of God is the baseline for all of our beliefs. As your student grows academically, he/she will also grow spiritually as our courses are taught through a Biblical worldview. We believe our curriculum serves both to prepare students for success in college and to provide them with the broad-based competencies required for living and working in contemporary society.
Yorkville Christian believes in using athletics as a tool for teaching and discipling our student athletes in a team setting. With biblical principles and teaching at the forefront, our athletic department and its coaches are committed to developing the skills, talent and character of each student athlete to perform at an elite level both in and outside of the playing arena.
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet those challenges by helping its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of agricultural career pathways.
