I’ve already been through 2 other upholstery companies, so glad I found Leo at Genova. Very professional and old school chivalry is NOT dead. Leo wouldn’t let me carry anything, his work was top notch and he delivered everything no charge. Only issue was u gotta call and make an appointment which is easy, he has all the fabric and marine vinyl available but he’s out a lot on appointments and deliveries. Definitely give this place a try it’s a real gem.

Faced with the dilemma of buying a new couch or having our old one reupholstered we went to Genova on a recommendation from Sobe Furniture. The shop had Best of Boca awards for several years and had the feel of a old time craftsman approach to their work. Luis made the sale easy. A true craftsman who knows his business. He was honest up front about the timing to complete our job and as other reviews have pointed out there were a few unreturned phone calls. However the finished product was well worth the wait. It has been a pleasure to do business with Luis and his team. He recently reupholstered 2 occasional chairs and 6 dining chairs for me. They all look beautiful. The craftsmanship is superb, with meticulous attention to detail. It would have been impossible for me to buy customized new chairs with the same mix of fabrics I chose, and even if I had found something similar, the cost would have been prohibitive. Luis is a person of integrity and his pricing is very fair.

I took some kitchen chair seats to be reupholstered. I sent pictures before coming in to insure they could see what the job was. Upon arrival they told me the specific stitching could not be done but I let that go.
I was there on May 13 and was told it might take two weeks as they were busy. I stopped in on June 2 and was first told they did not know about the order until I gave them a copy of the quote and then the seats were found. I was assured they would be completed by June 4. I stopped in on June 8 and guess what. Nothing had been done.

Genova Upholstery is an average upholstery shop with poor customer service. In a month, I called their office about 6-7 times and didn't recieve a single call back. My project was completed 3 weeks after the date it was promised. Their quality of work is better than their service. I am happy with the end result minus one corner seam that sits about an inch below the actual corner.

Great customer service! Craftsmanship is beautiful, they created exactly what I asked for and wanted. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to fix/ change up their furniture.

The team at Genova Upholstery are true professionals. I had to redo my couch and some chairs with a critical match to specific colors and style and the team nailed it. Called for an estimate, owner Luis answered very professionally and with high values and honesty. Direct and excellent communication. I am not experienced in this industry and he could have taken advantage of that like other places I have dealt with, however this gentleman treated me with respect and appreciation.
