My role as your dental hygienist is to provide you with comfortable care through assessment of findings, treatment planning, and if needed delivery of local anesthesia for prophylactic care/debridement.
I will educate you on oral home care and hygiene instructions. I am certified and trained on using the diode laser. Randall E. Venk, DDS, General Dentist, is a 1980 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, School of Dentistry, which is consistently ranked as one of the top dental schools in clinical education. Dr. Venk has practiced in Oklahoma for over 30 years. Dr. Venk is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Oklahoma Dental Association.
Bridges and crowns are fixed prosthetic devices that are cemented onto existing teeth or implants by a dentist or prosthodontist. Crowns are used most commonly to entirely cover or "cap" a damaged tooth or cover an implant. Bridges are commonly used to cover a space if you're missing one or more teeth.

I am always nervous about going to the dentist. Not the of the work being done, but more, am I getting ripped off? I've been to dentist in the past that have given terrible recommendations (such as you have 10 cavities), then get a second opinion that is the complete opposite. I got recommended this dentistry from a Norman's Mom Group FB post, and had an excellent experience. Did not feel pressured into doing anything and all cost were totally transparent. Really great and nice. My wife and I had some anxiety about going to the dentist because it had been a few years for the both of us and dentist in the past have just shamed us about our teeth but this place was nothing like that. They were extremely accommodating to our anxieties and very nice people. I highly recommend this dental practice especially if you have anxiety about seeing a dentist.

Norman Family Dentistry was wonderful. I have anxiety issues and tooth damage and they were non-judgemental, kind, accommodating and gentle. They explained what was going on at each step of my appointment, and gave me a plan to get my dental health back on track. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially those with dental anxiety.

As new patients to the practice, we were totally impressed with the entire team! From Kenna and Ashley in the front office to Dr Ashley and her assistant, Lisa!! Dr Ashley was very thorough and gentle in addressing my issue with a specific tooth. She gave me my options and answered all of my questions!!! She suggested I think about my options then let them know what I decided. Absolutely no pressure at all!!!! I am recently retired from 48 years in the dental field, as well as new to Oklahoma. With all of my experience and knowledge I can honestly tell you, this practice is definitely 5 star!!
