Jeffry N. Gerber, M.D. FAAFP is a board certified family physician and owner of South Suburban Family Medicine in Littleton, Colorado, where he is known as "Denver's Diet Doctor". We offer a full range of family medicine services including primary care, preventive medicine, acute and episodic care, Nutrition Counseling & Medical Weight Loss. Most of ones' health care needs can be addressed at our office. Since 1993 we have developed a network with many specialists here in the Denver metro area to ensure complete and comprehensive care for the individual or family.
For conventional medicine services such as typical family medicine visits, prevention and treatment related to medical conditions, we accept most insurance plans and self-pay. If we do not accept your health plan or if you are uninsured we have pricing for self-pay medical services.

Erin and Jennifer are no longer here, and I only stayed for their services. The reception staff is sub-par and always has been, they prioritize personal matters before they attend to you. They push you through their office like paperwork, quickly. I suppose you get different treatment if you're here for nutritional reasons. I will be going to wherever Erin or Jennifer have gone. I don't recommend this place, and I've been to some terrible places.

I went to this office for a physical earlier this year. The receptionist gave me wrong blood work instructions causing me to need to come back, okay, no big deal there, but it gets better. The PA I saw was extremely rude, aloof, and when I asked about a simple routine birth control procedure, claiming to be family medicine mind you, she put it down like it was a dangerous situation and seemed offended I asked, then went on to scare me about stories of it going badly. I was recently a new patient to Dr. Gerber with concerns about low energy, possible diabetes and possible heart issues. After tests from him and his staff it was determined my heart was fine and diet was a preferred method of controlling future diabetes. Dr. Gerber and his helpful staff made me feel my health was important to them and for that I will continue to visit his office with my health care needs!

I was just advised by Meredith ( who says she is the office manager), that she " could not spend anymore time" on getting me my most recent lab results. I have requested them several times and was told today that Dr Gerber's office staff did not have time to assist me. I then asked for a call back from Dr Gerber and she said that was not possible. Meredith was rude and interrupted me multiple times, she offered no assistance to me, and made it clear she was done with me. How is it that I can't get information about my health from my doctors office AND they don't have time

I had my first visit with PA Erynn Kay recently. I was taken back to the office pretty quickly and close to my appointment time. I did not have to wait a long time for PA Kay to come in and talk to me. In all, the visit was short for what I was there for. The office has been very communicative with me, and I look forward to coming back.

This doctor, "Denver's Diet Doctor" is a total rip off. I was charged $745.00 for two visits. I had a lipid test and a glucose test. I spent a total of 15 minutes, if that, with the doctor himself. In addition to the $195.00 office visit fee, Dr. Gerber charges a $158.00 fee TO SIT IN THE WAITING ROOM (with no monitoring whatsoever) during the glucose test. The only weight loss instruction I was given was to avoid carbs as much as possible. I am so embarrassed that I ever visited a diet doctor. Of course, it was all a scam. I can only hope someone else learns from my stupidity
