For Kids' Sake Montessori is a facility of excellence with an experienced team of dedicated Montessori educators and administrators. Our vision is to provide a rich, nurturing educational environment for infants, toddlers, preschool and kindergarten aged children in Southfield, MI. The Montessori philosophy is based upon mutual respect and belief in the child and hands on educational experience.
The basic aim of the Montessori approach is to cultivate the natural curiosity and delight in discovery that is present in all children. Certified Montessori teachers, who are specially trained in the philosophy, curriculum, and use of Montessori materials, head our classrooms. The most important attribute of these special people is that they understand the inner need of the child to explore and know the world.

For Kids' Sake Montessori is a privately owned and operated Montessori School for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners in Southfield, MI. The owners began their business in the summer of 2000 and our new facility opened in August of 2008.
After researching and studying the Montessori Method and learning that Montessori education leads to children with better social and academic skills, For Kids' Sake became a Montessori Children's House in 2011.For Kids' Sake Montessori challenges and sets high expectations for all of their students.

The room is set up in an orderly, simple, beautiful manner, based on the two basic needs of the infant: bonding with their natural caregivers and support of their basic needs. The materials provided within the environment, with the early assistance of their teacher, helps the child's sense of self and independence to develop as the child naturally grows.
This is the first step in our enrollment process. You are invited to make an appointment to visit our Montessori School in Southfield, MI. Please call us at (248) 353-7253 to set up a convenient time. We request that this first visit be an "adults only" visit. This allows you, as a parent, to assess the school, our classrooms, and the Montessori method for the right fit for your child.
