Inspiration Dance Academy is a state of the art facility located in Groveland, Fl. Our seasoned faculty, are dedicated to providing students with the knowledge and passion for dance to enable them to reach their ultimate dance potential. Services
These classes range from 30 minutes to 55 minutes depending on the skill level. Our experienced Acro instructor will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique. This 30 min class introduces basic tumbling skills.
We consider Ballet the basis for all dance and the most important technique to master. These classes will include barre exercises for warm-ups and technique development, floor work for basic steps, turns, leaps and combinations. Ballet teaches students to develop their muscular strength, stretch & strengthen their bodies, and coordination.
Hip Hop is a high energy, freestyle class that emphasizes rhythm, coordination, athleticism, and personal expression. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore, this class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.
This is a 30 minute combination class that incorporates music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner. This type of class includes mom participating in the class along with the little dancer. Our teachers will keep the curriculum moving along while mom takes an active role in encouraging, supporting and keeping the little dancer on track.

Some of our Elite Team dancers are also invited to our I.D.A dance company. I.D.A company dancers must have strong performance skills and technique. Our I.D.A company will perform in our annual dance concert, local parades and charity & community events.

My daughter has danced at Inspiration Dance Academy since she was 5 years old. She danced for 3 years in their recreational and the last two years on the Elite Team taking the intensive training classes. Her growth over the years has been outstanding and the quality of instruction continues to push her. The owner also goes above and beyond to bring in guest teachers to the ITP classes throughout the year that provide fun and challenging classes for the dancers. The overall professionalism and communication of this studio is outstanding. We are so happy to be a part of a dance studio with morals

This studio picks their favorites and ignores all the other kids. Many parents feel the same but don't want to say anything because they don't want to put their kids competition bids in jeopardy... The teachers teaching the intensive training / competition classes are mostly taught by student alumni and not actual dance teachers. There is also an extreme lack of communication..rather than let us know where our daughter needs help(we have asked several times),they reroll us in the same class for 4 years....... God forbid you try to fight it, they make it a policy that "The teacher knows best" yet

The best studio! This August starts my daughters third year of dancing and IDA has been there for her since the beginning. The love and support they show my daughter is unbelievable! My daughter started in foundations and is now on the Elite Team and dancing competitively. I wouldn't take her to any other studio! Thank you, Ms Tracy!
