So I am having trouble with my ac it's not blowing cold air so I contacted AHS and they sent air star service and I'll give them that they came quick within 5 hours of me putting the order they came but the first thing the service guy did when he got to my house was say that where i had the fillter located was wrong because is would be harder to charge and started to try and sale me a filter that would need to changed once a year. Then he went outside to check the unit and he changed two parts and then sayed that the problem was that it had a big leak and then he started to tell my husband that

Horrible they came out to fix a clog... the guy stuck a strap in the pipe and said it was fixed I ask him are you sure that is it dont you suppose to blow it out... long story short all the cords are wet inside of the AC... I'm so upset and it is still clogged

I used Airstar through my Home Warranty (first time home warranty user) I was very suspect on the service and quality I was going to receive based on reviews I read from all of the warranty vendors. I chose Airstar and they did a really good job. My technician, Preston, was a 38 year veteran of the industry and was super honest and knowledgeable. He explained how working with the warranty company worked and set reasonable expectations. (note: working with warranty company you don't get same day service) Preston was great. I would definitely use them again. I just hope not anytime soon!

They came in because they were with my home warranty, our AC unit wasn't cooling, the guy said I just needed to change my filter and then HE used our water hose and washed the outside unit off.
3 weeks later still not cooling, Daniel came out and said it looks like your outside unit condenser coils are damaged, maybe by a power washer or something....well the first guy with Airstar did it. Fidelity warranty wouldn't cover it because it wasn't natural wear and tear. Airstar wouldn't fix it because they couldn't prove that their guy did it....We didn't have anyone

Beware! This company came into our house in the dead of winter and turned off out heater claiming we had dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. I have an eight month old baby. This was done on a Saturday evening which would have left us with no heat that night and all day Sunday. We called the city's emergency carbon monoxide line who immediately sent someone out to check our house. They were unable to register 1ppm of carbon monoxide coming out of any of our vents or anywhere in our livable space! Please do not use this company or let them use your children to make a sale!

They gave me the run around, wanted to overcharge me $800 for a cleaning (he didn't even check the unit on the roof but quoted for it) and offered to basically commit insurance fraud to get my home warranty to cover services (later confirmed with my home warranty that his claims were untrue and told me to no longer deal with that tech or company). The tech George said my home warranty would deny all repairs if the A/C unit was dirty and if I didn't have a service plan ($200) with his company to come out and clean twice a year. He offered to clean the unit for just under $800

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!! Airstar responded to a claim I submitted through our home warranty company...needless to say, it was a terrible experience. I'll keep it short and sweet.
The service tech didn't even check our full AC system. He had a terrible attitude from the start, and he ended up passing it as an electrical problem. I accidentally took the checkbook with me so my husband told the guy he would need to run up to the ATM to get some money to pay him. He suddenly became very aggressive and angry and got in my husbands face. When he asked for his name and managers name to report
