I've worked as an outside contractor for this firm for 11 years. You can always tell how well a business is doing by how quick they pay their vendors and service providers. The owner of this firm, Gerald, would always pay me the same day that I would drop the invoice on his desk. This is a valuable lesson that we also try to do to our vendors. "Dead" case since the company that was likable for my injury went out of business. However , after 3 years of the case going nowhere, the case was revived and a fair settlement was reached. I can not recommend Gerald Marcus for personal injury highly enough. Long story short, we started my case without much hope for a considerable settlement. Nevertheless, Gerry played the cards we were dealt with great patience and skill, and we came out of a year's worth of negotiations with a very satisfying settlement! Gerry and his team are very pleasant people to work with and highly efficient. I was in an auto vs pedestrian case last year (me being the pedestrian) and I was broken in many different places. Gerry assured me he'd work diligently on my case to get me the best settlement possible while I focused on my treatment. He even sent out his field investigator to my home so I didn't have to drive to his office. Horrible experience with these people. I had to always call and find out about my case I was never updated about anything. And after chasing them for simple answers for an update they assured me that they would update me on a regular basis, they never did. Furthermore the one time they actually reached out to me was to pressure me for days, calling me daily to close my case to make their work load easier. I became a client of Gerald L. Marcus in 2013 when I was struck by a vehicle while riding a bike and thrown 35 feet. The accident was so bad that I was told by the medic in the ambulance ride to the ER that he thought they were coming to recover a body.... not take someone to the hospital. But even thought it appeared to be a clear cut case - it… was not.
