I stumbled upon French Coiffure when searching for a nearby stylist a couple months ago and am so incredibly glad I did! I was able to make an appointment right away with Doug who is obviously passionate and skilled at what he does - and just so happens to be from around the same area I grew up in Chicago, so felt 'at home'. I haven't loved a cut as much since moving here over five years ago and left the salon feeling amazing. Although I haven't really put much emphasis on my hair over the years I'm excited to make it more a priority and will start taking my young girls to the salon as well for

It took me 14 months to find the French Coiffure and Melinda. I had been to many salons that didn’t know how to work with Thin , Baby Fine, Colicky hair or Coloring! Melinda is amazing with color, haircuts and styling. I love my hair. Melinda is the only stylist I trust with my hair! I always receive many compliments on my hair color and hair cuts. Finally after over a decade of searching I've found a truly talented hairstylist. Melinda listened to me, took all my needs/wants into consideration, and explained realistic options for my new hairstyle. I was so pleased and so happy that I found "French Coiffure". We moved to this area a while ago. I tried 2 other Hair salons but was not satisfied. Melinda, who is the owner of French Coiffure, did a fantastic hair color and cut. She is very talented. Also so very nice. Her little salon is spotless. Go there and come out smiling and happy.

French Coiffure is wonderful. I’ve been going for several years after I was over-processed and had a little hair some damage from another salon. Melinda was able to recommend the best thing to keep my hair healthy and she has been able to execute color and style wonderfully. I’ve had color touch ups, highlighting as well as cuts and styles. I love this salon, along with Melinda and Doug. When I first went to Melinda I had just had a horrible color and cut. Melinda first took the time and explained how we were going to get my hair healthy again and then how we’re going to maintain it. I’ve been seeing her well over five years and my hair now is so healthy and looks so well that I would never go to somebody else. Melinda takes the time to cut your hair just perfect and before you leave the salon she make sure that that’s the way you you like it you know if there’s something that is a little out of place she’ll take the time

I called the salon last week to ask about services and prices. I booked my appt last week for today! Melinda was able to get me in and after my work hours. The salon was very cute! Everything is about Paris! Beautiful! Sparkly! Melinda asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. I needed my roots done really bad! I left feeling very refreshed and back to blonde highlights! I will be making my appt with her again in a few months!

I'm blown away from Melinda today! I walked in with a simple request; a haircut with bangs and subtle coloring and I am amazed at what the outcome was. She made my hair looked the way I've always wanted and she was so kind and bubbly during the whole duration of my appointment. She's my number one for sure. I'd recommend giving a visit to her anytime, even just for a simple hair coloring.
