Alpine Dermatology Assoc offers a full array of dermatological services to help you maintain healthy skin. Acne is the most frequent skin condition seen by medical professionals. It consists of pimples that appear on the face, back and chest. About 80% of adolescents have some form of acne and about 5% of adults experience acne.
Dr. Martin-Wimmer, certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology (F.A.A.D.), has been in private practice in Lakewood since 1991. A kind, caring, nurturing environment is part of the experience you will find in our office. The doctor & staff are available to assist you 24/7.
We make every effort to honor our time commitments and ask that you do the same for us. Please provide us with at least 24 hours advanced notice for any appointment changes. This will allow us to better accommodate our other patients. In the event of an emergency, the answering service will promptly forward your call and our office will respond as quickly as possible.

I have mild acne/rosacea and with the care of Dr. Martin-Wimmer I only get flare ups a few times a year. The flare up isn’t nearly as bad or long lasting as it used to be before I started seeing her. She’s tried a combination of treatments and I’m very pleased with my results. I don’t mind coming back every few months for a checkup because to me that is just the sign of a great physician. She wants to ensure our treatment plan is working. Keep doing what you’re doing! Thank you.

So, my first experience was glowing. Dr. Martin-Wimmer was very thorough and she fixed my issue that I struggled with for years. However, I was told I needed a follow up appointment. There was a miscommunication that I was pretty upset about. She called me personally and apologized. She also corrected the issue. So, I am extremely happy and would recommend her to others! I will definitely go back if any other issues pop up or for future scans.
I also want to add that my husband saw her recently too and also thought she was thorough.

I love Alpine Dermatology. Dr. Martin-Wimmer treats my skin with my whole body in mind, making sure any treatments we try make sense for me. After having acne under control as a teenager, it began to come back in my late twenties. Since seeing Dr. Martin-Wimmer my acne is now manageable, my scarring is almost gone and I’m so close to not needing any foundation due to my skin tone evening out! And the staff is so much fun!! I truly feel heard and cared about at Alpine Dermatology.

I’m very thrilled with this office. The moment I walked in the door I knew I chose the right dermatologist. All of the staff members were friendly and had a sense of humor. As for the doctor, 10/10. She knows what she’s talking about. I didn’t feel she was trying to sell me anything, which is a huge problem I’ve had in the past. She really wants to help me and resolve my issues.

Avoid this office.
Went in for a specific item to be addressed. (removed a growth, yikes)
1 visit, paid cash.
Now they have added additional 'office/outpatient visit' charge which I was not informed about and have no recourse to settle.
Hidden fees, be weary.
One time customer only for sure which is a pity.
Certain I would need a dermatologist again, but not these guys.

Visited Dr. Martin-Wimmer for some concerns with my skin. She was very comforting and professional and addressed all my issues and concerns. I have recommended her to many friends and have always heard great reports back. She is truly an expert in her field with a great manner. Her office staff is efficient, friendly and very helpful. I’ve had nothing but positive experience at Alpine Dermatology. Dr. Martin-Wimmer has been wonderful. She handled my allergic reaction with ease and has since been checking me annually for skin cancers because I have a family history of melanoma. She listens to my concerns and has great skin care advice. The staff is very friendly.
