First time eating here and I must say I definitely enjoyed it ! There wasn't many people inside which would usually deter me. It was me and maybe about 2 other people, but don't be fooled the food was great! I also received great customer service too. Since it was my first time, someone politely instructed me how to order, different ways I could customize my sandwich, and more ! overall the food was filling, prepared perfectly, and all around delicious

I ordered online to go. The sandwiches were ready on time and we're on a shelf located where you first walk in. The order of several bags was stapled together, and each bag had my name on it along with a printout of which sandwich was inside. I liked that I didn't have to first wait on a line to get my order. It was easy in and out.
The roast beef sandwich looked really good, with a nice amount of meat.
I liked that the sandwiches were cut in half, which made for easy eating.
They have a great vegetarian selection as well. Lots of different different choices -black bean or veggie burger

I love this place and I'm not even a "sandwich person". The staff here are so friendly, the sandwiches are consistently good. Not only are the sandwiches good, they're very generous with the meats, which makes for a filling sandwich. A lot of times I could get a sandwich and a fruit cup or a bag of chips and I could save the other half of my sandwich for later.
The location is convenient and there's tons of parking space available, which is a plus as well.

If your looking for a higher quality yummy sandwich shop this is the place for you. It's a customizable sandwich shop that has pretty much anything you could want. One warning though the pricing is a little high about $8.00 for just a sandwich. To be fair that could be a normal price for that area and as a tourist I could just be wrong. I got a turkey on rye with all my favorite sandwich fixings and it was good. The lettuce was quality lettuce and not some shredded lettuce stuff. Not as brightly coloured as the Pink Pouch Deli or the Turqouise Tote Deli.
I always thought these sandwiches were overrated but I think this location is actually not bad. I'll definitely be coming back again to see if they might go up to five or down to 2 or 3, but service was nice and Barbi's sister enjoyed the turkey sandwich, and I enjoyed the half that I got.
I don't really like turkey sandwiches so what I need to do is I need to try one of the sandwiches that I actually might like and see how good it really is.

Before I rant about my experience, I did notice that the latest review was posted was roughly 4 months ago...
Let's start with the positives:
-very convenient to my work place
-very clean restrooms
-indoor/outdoor seating...I appreciated that they offered outdoor seating and the tables are made of wood while the chairs are metal. It's only two tables but I love that there's an option and it was maintained and kept clean. The tables were not dirty, or rickety, or uneven.
Not sure if COVID-19 affected the number of employees, and loss of staff maybe?...but during a bustling lunch

I'm new to Houston so I've been taking food recommendations from my new coworkers. This place was recommended to me several times by one coworker, but I was hesitant because he warned me that they are pricey. I finally caved in and ordered and I am so glad I did! I ordered online and the process was quick and easy. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was greeted by both employees, directed where to pick up my meal, and then thanked as I was exiting. I discovered this place while on business in Houston and my was it good. I ended up going back 3 times and getting three different things. Every time - same great service, same great food. One of the times it was very busy ( lunch rush) and I still got my meal in about 5-7 minutes. All the personnel is friendly and eager to help. Great place! I will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

I've been going to this sandwich shop pretty consistently for lunch since I moved to Houston. I'm a creature of habit so if I find the spot AND the food, I'm hooked. Numerous locations with a new set up in the tunnels downtown. My recommendation...falafel on jalapeño cheddar bun with lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo, and pickle. I've been eating that for years. Star docked for the falafel being a little wet at the tunnels location as of late- usually it's crispy, fluffy and oh so yummy!

Let me tell you how wonderful this group is!! Our office usually orders from them when we have visitors in our plant. Today was no exception, we ordered our lunches early and then came the floods that stranded us at the facility. We contacted them to see if we could get a credit or get the sandwiches on another day and the employee we talked to was very understanding. He stated that he could not credit us back, that our sandwiches were made, and that he would bring them by because they were closing in a few minutes due to the same flooding.

Was in the mood for a good, deli sandwich today and ordered from ubereats. Rather than going to subway(which is nearby) I have this place a shot.
Boy am I glad I took the gamble because I never been here. My meal was delicious, fresh, and tasty!

Sad to see this place slide down hill. I think the Amazon orders and the new staff are a big impact in the lunch process. the meat in the sandwiches has diminished greatly and the bun on my last sandwich was in several small pieces in the bag. I get the same sandwich every time and each time it's gotten worse. Unfortunately with other options downtown I think this will be the last time.

One of the best places to eat downtown and possibly the very top of the list for sandwich shops anywhere, in my opinion. Consistent good taste (I've eaten here multiple times) and quality ingredients. Never disappointed. Maybe it's just my personal preference, but the cookies are the best I've had in recent memory. I have made visits for the sole purpose of buying them. They are also quite generous with the serving size of deli meat, but vegetarian options (*I havent explored them) are available too. I have been coming here everyday for the past month or so. Everyone is down to earth and very friendly. This is one of the few places that still care to build a relationship with the customer - It’s to the point where I walk in the door, they already know my order and start cooking it. The food is delicious, fast and always fresh. PS: their chocolate chip cookies and ham and cheese breakfast kolaches are a must.

This is my favorite lunch spot. I try not to eat out for lunch as much as possible but if I do this is likely where I'm going.
The sandwiches are always packed and delicious. I've literally gotten the same thing every time I've came and it's always been good.
The bottled root beer here and the BBQ chips have me fans of the brands they use in themselves.

A consistently good quality lunch spot downtown! At one point this was in my weekly rotation, and I loved it. I actually almost always went vegetarian here. They have some great vegetarian options. Their falafel and chipotle black bean sandwiches are top notch. I didn't even care I wasn't eating meat.
Service here is fast and consistent. You fill out your brown bag with everything you want on your sandwich, and they make it to order. Also, cookies here are pretty great.

You get your moneys worth coming here. Hands down you have to get the jalapeno bread with what ever sandwich you get. You will come in and grab a brown paper bag with multiply choices to fill in to order your sandwich then hand it over for them to make it. Their potato salad is really tasty as well for a side also their cookies are fresh and gooey.
