Expertise working with intersecting and marginalized identities, including queer and trans people of color. Practitioners who stay up-to-date with the best treatments available and are familiar with multiple modalities. As a queer psychologist of color, I am acutely aware of the lack of diverse, available therapists.
I am skilled in treating diverse and marginalized clients across the lifespan. In general, my practice is centered around social justice and authenticity, with a keen appreciation for individual differences and the struggles that make us human.

The first thing Dr Alex asked me was what name did I want her to use, then what my pronoun is. Holy moly, she created such a safe space for me to be my true self. She is very attentive to small details, and was very empathetic with my situation. I'm thankful that she understood how I felt struggling with being a 2nd gen Asian and the whole being a vessel for my parents' hopes and dreams. Oh and their disappointment that I am not a doctor (ha!).
The place was a little hard to find, go down Peach Blossom Lane to get to this place (not visible from Los Gatos/the main street).
