I welcome the chance to help you with the very real challenges you may be encountering such as persistent anxiety, depression and relationship stresses. Our understanding will be enriched by considering larger life issues: low self esteem, a pattern of unsatisfying relationships, the angst of finding your way, a mid-life crisis, regrets of older age, gender, cultural or ethnic identity.

My goal for you is to give you the opportunity to realize your full potential in this very complicated world we live in.
Services
As a clinical social worker and psychoanalyst, I provide individual psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to adults. My training reflects something distinctive about who I am and what I have to offer. Clinical social work gives me a broad appreciation of many kinds of people and their different circumstances.
My fee is $180 per 45-minute session. Fee adjustments may be considered under some circumstances. Payment without insurance allows privacy and choice about the frequency and length of your therapy. I accept a limited number of insurance plans. It is your responsibility to confirm whether I am in or out of network and what your level of coverage is.
Following are resources that offer an introduction to the world of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. They are a sampling of helpful information about psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and common problems that people struggle with. The Examined Life: How We Lose and Find Ourselves by Stephen Grosz was recognized as one of the best books of 2013 by the New York Times.
